(ML12 6RZ) Mount View Caravan Park

The management of camping site is quite bad and not kids friendly. We were asked to shut the kids up at 9in the morning (1 and 3 years old. They are kids and need to talk and play). We were also in need of drying machine which she confirmed me in advance through email that the camping provides one and it would cost 3£. After washing the clothes and trying to dry them in the dryer, turned out that dryer is broken. She didnt return us money, neither provide us some solution to it. We were not allowed to hold our drying rope on the trees and hang our clothes there (nevermind, i rained later). So, we ended up spending the night in van with our two kids and two bags full of wet clothes. The kitchen to wash the dishes has two faucets, hot and cold. Both with a extrem pressure that splashes everywhere. The hot one is burning hot. It cannot be touched. Showers are manges by a single push bottom and water is burning hot as well. Pits for campers and motorhomes are sloping a lot. Otherwise facilities very clean. Nice grass. Very disapointing.

We stopped there hoping to use the services based on an earlier review on this app. We were very unpleasantly thrown out. We won't be back and do not recommend.

Etwas komischer Campground. Ca 95% der Stellflächen sind wohl durch Dauercamper belegt. Wir wurden auf einer leicht abschüssigen Wiese platziert… mit Keilen ging es einigermassen. Waren die einzigen Nicht-Dauercamper. Hatten die ganze Zeit das Gefühl nicht willkommen zu sein. 35£ für 2 Pers. inkl Wasser & Strom. San. Anlagen sehr (!) in die Jahre gekommen aber grundsätzlich sauber.

Looked like a nice campsite, but on this occasion we just stopped in to ask if we could dispose of black waste and take on water, and we offered to pay for the service. We were told a flat-out "No".

After following a diversion due to road closures found this site. Very pleasant and welcoming staff, good facilities, flat pitch. The only downside was the £35 for one night for 2 adults and VW campervan, quite a hike compared to previous comments ?

Arrêt d’une nuit, 25 £ pour 2 personnes en camping-car. Bruit du train léger - sanitaires ok. La gestion des Eau grise et eau propre manque un peu de facilité.

Autobahn und Bahnlinie sind deutlich zu hören. Grauwasser mit Schlauch oder Eimer abzulassen, kein anfahrbarer Gulli. Das sind alle Nachteile, sonst ist der Platz wirklich schön und im Vergleich günstig: 25£ für Camper mit 2 Menschen, mit Strom. Große Pitches, wir brauchten keine Keile. Freundliche Rezeption. Sanitär altmodisch, aber gut in Schuss. Empfehlenswert, wenn man keine Stille braucht.

Stopped here heading north. Really handy for the motorway. Great facilities hot showers and heated loos. Trains stopped overnight... or we slept through!

Rang Agnes at 6.30pm on a Friday night, booked us in for £25 for one night, two adults and three dogs. Lovely site, toilets and showers were extremely good. Highly recommend. Train noise was minimal, certainly didn’t keep us awake.

Nice camp site with facilities. Arrived late in the evening so didnt notice site was near a train track. Was a little noisy but not too bad. Owners lovely.
