Schöner Platz in fantastischer Natur. Erika all over. Mit dem Fahrrad schöne Touren möglich. Pferde, Kühe und Esel laufen frei herum und grasen am Camper. Sanitär sauber, keine Duschen und Elektrizität. Autobahn leider laut und daher 1 Stern weniger, sonst wäre es die perfekte Idylle. 16 Pfund pro Nacht
I stopped here for one night while visiting family and friends in a campervan No electric was £16 - Worth noting card payment only Site was very clean, with clean and sufficient toilet block Ground was very hard so hard ground pegs required Stopped again a month later and would happily stop here when I need to The wildlife roaming the site in the early morning is beautiful
A peaceful night in the forest, £16.10 without electricity seems reasonable for the location. Great access to walks
A nice site but expensive for what it is. Good for filling up with water and emptying the toilet. Toilet facilities only, dated but clean. There is another camp site close by that’s cheaper or you can park in several car parks around the site. The staff are very nice and friendly. Wildlife do roam around which is lovely to see but you would still see them if you weren’t on the site.
The most beautiful place , great helpful host. Returning again in 2 weeks.
Booked into this campsite for 2 nights mainly to top up our water and empty our chemical toilet. pleasantly surprised by the size and the ability to pitch where you prefer. They only have a toilet block, no showers, but they are relatively clean. Small shop also on site. Cost us £41 for 2 nights in our campervan.
What an amazing campsite! Yes it doesn’t have showers but for experience of camping in the woods while wild horses, ponies and deers walk by is something special! Cost £18.70 for 2 adults, a baby and a dog and we had an incredible couple of nights. If you need showers go to the local leisure centre for a swim for a few quid. Would highly recommend.
2Nächte, 3Kinder&4Erw, je £40. Völlig OK. Leider keine Duschen, daher nur 2Nächte. Toll für.die Kinder, denn es laufen wirklich viele versch.Tiere über und um den Platz. Konnten viel beobachten und einfach als Gruppe mit Kindern entspannt abhängen. Gerne wieder. Super freundliches & hilfsbereiten Personal!!!
Wij zijn hier weggestuurd omdat we sliepen in een busje. Het draaide om regels en ventilatie, ook al kunnen we 2 ramen en de achterdeur op een kier laten staan. Heel kinderachtig en star. We zijn geen onverantwoordelijke mensen. Zeer teleurstellend!
Ich kann mich nur anschließen. In herrlicher Heidelandschaft im Nationalpark spazieren Rotwild und Wildpferde seelenruhig durch den Platz. 16,10 Pfund für ein 7,40 m Womo mit 2 Erwachsenen. Im Park mehrere kostenlose Tagesparkplätze vorhanden und sehr wenige Besucher. Campingplatz nimmt kein Cash, nur Kartenzahlung.
wunderschöner Campingplatz in der Natur. Wenn man morgens durch die Fenster sieht und dann die Wildponys und das Dammwild beim grasen zusehen möchte, dann seit Ihr hier genau richtig. Von hier kann man herliche Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren unternehmen und das ganze für £16,10 für ein Wohnmobil, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Hunde.

Beautiful campsite. If you drive toward the end of the site there are plenty of places that are very tucked away and private. Although you do have to have s toilet on board to go past a certain point as there’s only one toilet block near reception.
one if the best places around. been going since very young. Only issue is they don't allow car camping I asked recently and they told me no. Would have to be an actual camper van or tent but other then that it's a very nice place
Ocknell Campsite - Stayed here for 2 nights, wild horses, donkeys & deer roaming round. Can walk off in any direction into the woods, clearings & valleys. Very spacious though theres only toilets near the reception. Drinking water and chemical disposal spots scattered about. We drove as far as we could through the site to find a peaceful spot with a nice view and only 2 other Campervans in sight
We love this site. its the second time that we have stayed here. no leccy or showers, but toilets. its very peaceful. you get horses, cows, donkeys and deer roaming around here. 2021 prices about 14 quid, pn for 2 people, and a bit cheaper if your over 60
Très bon endroit seul bémol un bruit de fond de la 4voie qui est à quelques KLM. en pleine nature possibilité de remplir les réservoirs d eau ,vidanger les caissettes , faire du vélo très sécurisant avec des enfants.
Really nice site. Animals walking through the campsite. Close to main road. Camp further down the park to avoid the noise. No facilities except for electricity. Bread available from reception to bake in the morning.
Mooie plaatsen doch ligt zeer dicht bij de autosnelweg met constant het geraas op de achtergrond de longbeach campplaats iets verder en die tot idem site behoord maar enkel toegankelijk is indien je zelf een toilet hebt is een pak rustiger en nog mooier gelegen doch desalniettemin meer dan de moeite om te overnachten . we betaalden 17,89£ voor een nacht ( 2 pers hond met kleine camper)
