Un endroit incroyable pour passer la nuit et commencer la randonnée du Vignemale. Il se trouve juste à côté d'une cabane de berger. Le sentier est étroit, et les deux derniers kilomètres sont tracés, mais en bon état. Plus haut, vers le ruissellement, ça devient un peu délicat. Le jour, des voitures passent, mais la nuit, rien. Juste des marmottes et quelques animaux.
An incredible place to spend the night and begin the Vignemale hike. It's right next to a shepherd's hut. The path is narrow, and the last two kilometers are tracked, but in good condition. Further up, toward the rush, it gets a bit tricky. During the day, cars pass by, but at night, nothing. Just marmots and the occasional animal.
Ein fantastischer Ort zum Übernachten und als Ausgangspunkt für die Vignemale-Wanderung. Er liegt direkt neben einer Schäferhütte. Der Weg ist schmal, und die letzten zwei Kilometer sind zwar ausgetreten, aber in gutem Zustand. Weiter oben, in Richtung der Hauptverkehrsstraße, wird es etwas kniffliger. Tagsüber fahren Autos vorbei, nachts jedoch nichts. Nur Murmeltiere und gelegentlich ein Tier.
Lugar increíble para pasar la noche y empezar la excursión al Vignemale. Está justo al lado de una cabaña de pastor. el camino es estrecho y los últimos dos kilómetros de pista pero en buen estado. Más arriba hasta la prisa, se complica un poco. Durante el día van pasando coches, pero por la noche nada. sólo marmotas y algún que otro animal

Great quiet spots along this road. We drove all the way to the dam with the lake. A bit bumpy but doable with our Peugeot boxer. Had a very quiet night along the road. Lots of marmots. No bins and no cellphone receive. Only beautiful nature.
