Wir haben hier 3 wunderbare Nächte verbracht. Die andere Kanalseite wäre vermutlich noch ruhiger gewesen, da es dort eine Sackgasse gibt, aber wir wollten mit unserem großen Gefährt gut drehen können. Mit dem Rad sind es ca. 20 km nach Gent und ca. 25 km nach Brügge. Beides lässt sich sehr gut fahren. Baden konnte man leider nicht, da es gerade Blaualgen im Kanal gibt (laut Einheimischen).
Très agréable, très calme. Presque pas de circulation sur le pont et rien la nuit. Cette nuit 5 camping-cars d'un côté et 2 du nôtre.
Great stopover by a canal. Peaceful night, the road is very quiet, hardly any traffic, mostly bicycles. Nice to watch the barges go by on the canal. Cycle paths in both directions. No services, so be prepared.
One of our favourite P4N stops. Came here on our way back to Calais. Was pleasantly surprised only 3 MH here, when we arrived at 6pm on a sunny Sunday. Had a very pleasant evening and spent until 5pm the next day there watching the boats go by sheltered from the heat. Please take trash with you as no bins let's not lose this lovely place. Thank you to local community for allowing us to be here.
uitermate goede plaats, je merkt dat het succes heeft bij de mobilhomes, mooi uitzicht op het water en ideaal om buiten te eten bij mooi weer.

Wir standen hier für eine Nacht direkt am Kanal. Es war ruhig und wir konnten super schlafen. Keine Ver- oder Entsorgung oder sonstiges. Lediglich ein kleiner Mülleimer. Al Zwischenstopp ist der Platz super
Excelente lugar. Tranquilo y bellas vistas del canal y el puente. Muchos ciclistas y pocos autos. Asegúrese de parar después de cruzar bajo el puente; nos frenamos antes y un vecino salió a señalarnos que nos fuéramos. Del otro lado están los carteles de P y hay más espacio.
Currently there are some roads in the village nearby closed which might make it a bit more difficult to find the spot using google maps. Don’t give up. It’s a nice spot.

Lovely spot by the river. Super quiet with very little passing traffic. Small bin close by.
De dichtstbijzijnde bakkerij ( atelier Pien, gesloten op maandag) bevindt zich op 1,3 km van de camperplaats. Een warenhuis (delhaize) in de buurt is er niet, een ritje naar Aalter met de fiets is al vlug 4.5 km.
Prachtige officiële camperplek om te staan met de camper! Iedereen heeft zowat hun eigen privé plek en je kan er genieten van naar de passeerde boten te kijken of een babbeltje doen met de buren! Aanrader!
Sitio tranquilo. Ideal para dormir. Al lado del rio y en un pueblo muy tranquilo y bonito. Dejo 4 estrellas porque en este lado si que es verdad que pasan mas coches al lado porque la carretera sigue pero en el otro lado se duerme mejor porque la carretera de al lado va a parar a un camino de tierra y no pasan tantos coches. Pero es un magnifico sitio. Faltan basuras.
Great spot by the river. Lots of cyclists early evening but very quiet after that. Just 4 vans over the other side of the river and one with us on the south side. Would definitely recommend. It was our first night in Belgium!
Perfect place it is marked the place for campers with a signal. it will fit around 7 campers if park properly. now October 2022 we are the only ones parked here and at the other side of the river we can see 7 campers. There is garbage bin on here also
Wenn morgens um 5:30Uhr die Landwirte anfangen Wasser aus dem Kanal zu ziehen, kann ich diesen Platz nicht als gut bewerten. Denn diese großen Maschinen machen richtig Krach.
Love this place - peaceful, next to the canal, plenty of space and a canal path for walking/cycling.
Très belle endroit. Nous avons passé une nuit très calme avec d'autres camping car. Il y a aussi des poubelles.
Heerlijke rustige gratis plek. Prachtig uitzicht en je kunt er fijn wandelen. Mooi kasteel in het dorp zelf.
In september daar geweest, inderdaad mooi en superrustig staan! officiële plaats.

Zalig rustig over de brug een bakker . Je hebt een beetje elk je eigen tuintje met zicht op de vaart !! Wij komen zeker nog eens
Is een heel goede plaats om te verblijven. Om te gaan wandelen, fietsen of gewoon te gaan rusten en naar de boten te kijken.
Stayed on the South side of the canal which was a bit quieter than the North. No facilities but a lovely quiet spot on the side of the canal at the edge and of very nice little town. Would definitely recommend :)

Perfect place to sleep aside from town. Free and official. It is probably on both sides of the canal. Spent one night here.
Avons passé deux nuits géniales. Très calme la nuit. Bruits du passage sur le pont mais pas dérangeant. Joli coin le long du canal avec les bateaux qui passent.
Endroit tranquille et autorisé. on notera tout de même le cloc cloc des voitures qui passent sur le pont, moins de passage la nuit.
Bel endroit sauf pour tv, une grande route au-dessus de l'endroit sinon très beau
