J'ai découvert cet endroit lors d'un séjour dans un autre endroit proche, repéré sur l'application. Celui-ci est considérablement plus grand et plus agréable, avec quelques tables de pique-nique et une poubelle. Je suis étonné qu'il n'ait pas déjà été découvert. Il est juste à côté des Five Pit Trails ; on peut marcher des kilomètres à partir d'ici.
I found this place when I was staying at a different nearby spot I’d found on the app - this one is considerably bigger and better, and has a couple of picnic tables as well as a bin. I’m amazed it hadn’t already been discovered. It’s just off the Five Pit Trails - you can walk for miles from here.
Ich habe diesen Ort entdeckt, als ich an einem anderen nahegelegenen Ort übernachtete, den ich über die App gefunden hatte – dieser ist deutlich größer und besser und verfügt über ein paar Picknicktische sowie einen Mülleimer. Ich bin erstaunt, dass er noch nicht entdeckt wurde. Er liegt direkt an den Five Pit Trails – von hier aus kann man kilometerweit laufen.
Encontré este lugar cuando me alojaba en otro sitio cercano que encontré en la app. Este es bastante más grande y mejor, y tiene un par de mesas de picnic y un contenedor de basura. Me sorprende que no lo hubieran descubierto ya. Está justo al lado de Five Pit Trails; puedes caminar kilómetros desde aquí.

o star rate arrived and the local farmer not happy as said there's no camping, did state there's no signs to say no over parking, he reckons there's cameras around and the council will bill you, recon he's just not happy with campers here so used it as a threat . not taking any chances so will move on after a cuppa.
Got there at 11pm, no one else around. very quite and peaceful.
Quiet after dark, one other van arrived at 11pm. Peaceful nights sleep with a backdrop of local cows mooing away. Fairly sheltered from the wind. I wouldn’t say this is a place for 10 vans unless you want to leave absolutely no space for local walkers and cyclists. 2-3 would be more than enough, this isn’t a campsite and is a fairly small space. Bins and lots of walking options.
Arrived quite late so was a tight squeeze with the other campers already pitched up, however was a very peaceful one night stay and had no issues!
perfect spot, 3 picnic tables, a bin, no toilets but sure we all ok with that,room for 10 ish vans if parked correctly, I do recommend if stopping in the area
I stayed here on my way to Sherwood Pines and realised it was on a cycle route which was a really nice surprise. Really friendly locals. Quiet all night.
