Il s'agit apparemment d'une zone de développement de logements qui a fait faillite il y a dix ans. 50 places de parking et les maisons les plus proches sont à 500 m. C'est un peu plus protégé du vent que l'endroit populaire à proximité. Ne vous y approchez pas directement de Fuengirola. La route est très étroite pour les camping-cars. Allez d'abord à Mijas puis ici.
Apparently a development area for housing which was bankrupted decade ago. 50 parking spots and closest houses are 500m away. It's a bit more protected from the wind than the popular place nearby. Do not approach directly from Fuengirola. The road is very narrow for motorhomes. Go first to Mijas and then here.

Al parecer es una zona de desarrollo de viviendas que se declaró en quiebra hace una década. Hay 50 plazas de aparcamiento y las casas más cercanas están a 500 m. Está un poco más protegido del viento que el popular lugar cercano. No se acerque directamente desde Fuengirola. La carretera es muy estrecha para autocaravanas. Vaya primero a Mijas y luego aquí.

we just about managed the steep approach with many hairpin bends from the east in a borrowed estate car, to check it out. It's remote,quiet, with excellent views across the hills. There was absolutely no-one else there. We came down the western route following signs for Las Laguna's which was a bit easier. If you have a strong engine, new clutch and brakes and want isolation, you could do it.
Difficult to access, very narrow roads. But once there the parking was very good. There are several large parking lots for the unfinished residential area. We parked there alone and undisturbed for two nights.
Perfect spot, the person below is just complaining about nothing. A fox came by to say hello (probably looking for some food) the spot is nice and level with good reception. The spot south of this spot is also recommended for better views.
Endroit très calme ça c'est sûr mais déconseillé aux longs camping car. Par beau temps très compliqué des deux côtés et par temps de pluie impossible de remonter. Dépannage obligatoire à 180€
Great place for a night. The spot on the hill has nice views but was full. This is more spacious. In the night quiet. Sometimes other cars come by but no one bothered us. We came in our small van directly from Fungierola. A part of the road is marked as private and forbidden to drive through, but we read somewhere in the comments it was no longer accurate and we drove through with no problems.
It was a really calm place, with a lot of space. We tried to get there from Fuengirola's side at first, but it was not doable for 7m van. Tried to get from a bit upper road it was with few corners where had to move back and forward to pass it.
Para ser un aparcamiento se duerme muy bien, solo el ruido de los pájaros. Vistas a Mijas muy bonitas. Bastante nivelado. Horror viniendo por Fuengirola, como indicaban algunas reseñas (que no vimos), pero se supera con una auto de 7 metros, se suda, pero se llega :)
I can't understand why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars. Its quiet, secluded, perfect and ample spaces, glorious view of Mijas and the surrounding mountains, easy access, minimal flies/mosquitos, what's not to like? it's an abandoned building plot so also lots of fun on a longboard.
Sehr schöner ruhiger Platz ohne viel Verkehr und andere Menschen. Die Anfahrt ist aber recht spektakulär. Am besten aus Richtung Mijas anfahren.
Attention à la route que vous prenez car en camping car c’est dangereux, route en lacet et ça grimpe fort, on a eu une sueur ..
Nous avons passé une nuit très tranquille. Il y avait un autre camping-car sur le parking. Belles vues sur le village de Mijas.
