Camping sauvage à la ferme d'Easington ! C'est le virage juste après. Tournez au panneau vert, puis suivez le panneau de tente. Vous traversez une cour de ferme. C'est une ferme en activité, conduisez donc prudemment et tous les chiens doivent être en laisse. En remontant le chemin de terre (adapté aux camping-cars et aux petits camping-cars, nous sommes 5,5), il y a 3 toilettes portatives et une douche (chaude mais pas très puissante) et un évier pour la vaisselle (eau froide), puis sur la gauche 3 emplacements en dur pour les campeurs. Il y a aussi de la place pour les tentes, vous vous garez sur le parking en herbe, puis vous montez la colline jusqu'au champ sauvage (pas une petite colline) et vous plantez votre tente où vous le souhaitez, de belles vues ici ! Easington farm wild camping! It’s the turning just after. Turn at the green sign and then follow the tent sign. You drive through a farm yard. This is a working farm so drive carefully and all dogs need to be on leads. As you drive up the dirt track ( suitable for campers and small motor homes we are 5.5) there are 3 portaloo’s and a shower (warm not very powerful) and a washing up sink (cold water) then on the left 3 hard standing for campers. There is also room for tents you park on the grass car park area and then walk up the hill to the wild field ( not a small hill) and you pitch your tent wherever you like lovely views up here! Es gibt auch Platz für Zelte, Sie parken auf dem Grasparkplatz und gehen dann den Hügel hinauf zum wilden Feld (kein kleiner Hügel) und schlagen Ihr Zelt auf, wo immer Sie möchten, schöne Aussicht hier oben! Van spot was hard standing, needs to be said there is only one elec hook up box so if you are on either far side your cable needs to be SUPER long, we had to half park on the grass for it to reach as we were in pitch one. Would be happy to pay more for better facilities; 4 portaloos were never clean, rarely had toilet roll, smelt badly of ammonia!! Was not pleasant at all and we are festy goers.
Friendly mix of campers here and the wild camping site had an improvised shower, outdoor washing up sink, portable toilets & chemical waste but they all worked & seemed clean. Great views from top of hill, easy pre booking system so we knew where pitch MH & do use the location link that is sent for directions as it is not obvious where the site is. Chemical waste area needs independent tap
Cool place to stay for a night! Saw nobody but everything was clear with the signs. Had to pay 18£ through bank transfer or paypal for a night on the big (sloping) field. Found a pretty flat spot though. If you hike up the hill you have a 360 view! Very cool for tent campers as you can pitch wherever. Three portaloos available, not superclean. And shower did not work when I tried it. Water pressure was also low.
