Great parking for a visit to Laon (which was lovely). We were going to stay the night but thought it might be a bit noisy.

nice location but you can't sleep past 8.00 due to traffic. Also no facilities.

Mooie camperplaats langs de stadsmuren bij de bovenstad. Daarbinnen fraaie authentieke oude stad.

Très bonne nuit sur ce parking prévu spécialement pour les camping-cars. Accès direct au centre-ville, à la cathédrale et à la citadelle.

Lovely stop with splendid view beneath city walls. We stopped overnight and had great meal in restaurant on square overlooking cathedral. The medieval town and citadel are well worth a longer stop over. Quiet night, traffic in the morning, but cars are travelling slow thanks to a speed hump. Advise not to park beside it.

Lugar perfecto, cerca del precioso pueblo. Catedral impresionante!! Gracias al ayuntamiento por estos lugares.

Parcheggio a pochi passi dalla città medievale, stupenda, tranquillo alla notte. Da visitare in agosto la sera proiezioni e musica sulla cattedrale.

Sehr nahe am Ort gelegen - 3 min bis in die wunderschöne Innenstadt - Papierkörbe vorhanden - direkt an der Straße - unter Tags natürlich Verkehr und Lärm - nachts war es aber sehr ruhig - toll um mit dem Hund gassie zu gehen - einige Camper standen vorne am anderen Parkplatz (ist aber auch nix anderes) Danke an diese schöne Stadt für diesen Platz

Wat een goede plek om stadje te bezoeken en te overnachten. Mooie kerk en Labcahe( prachtige muurschildering in steegje). Zag er toeristisch uit, maar het was er niet heel druk. Goede rustige nacht, alhoewel je langs de straat staat. Sommige auto’s rijden wel hard voorbij. Bankjes in de buurt boven bij de stadsmuur.

Super schöner einigermaßen ruhiger SP. Für eine Nacht zu empfehlen. Fußläufig in 5 Minuten jede Menge guter Restaurants, um die Kathedrale. Uns hat das Städtchen sehr gut gefallen.

Vielen Dank an die Stadt für diesen kostenlosen Platz. Etwas schräg, aber für eine Nacht völlig okay. Wir waren zum Street Art Festival hier und es war einfach nur genial! Verpasst nicht durch die Stadt zu fahren und euch die Murals(Gemälde an den Hochhäusern) anzuschauen. Wirklich sehenswert.

A great location by the walls of Laon, with 6 spaces dedicated to motor homes and campervans. But, some noisy vehicles through the night on this road and in the direct sunshine from early in the morning. If you are a campervan, the car park just above is quieter and shaded.

Eigentlich ein schöner Platz zum Übernachten jedoch wurden drei Stellplätze, die extra für Wohnmobile gekennzeichnet waren von Jugendlichen mit ihren Autos belegt. Sie machten bis tief in die Nacht hinein, laut Musik und Geschrei. An Nachtruhe war gar nicht zu denken. Gut gemeint von der Gemeinde mit den Stellplätzen jedoch schlecht überwacht. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Thanks to the municipality for this beautiful CC parking. Perfect location right next to the city wall and a nice park for shade and walks. Laon is worth a visit, I was really pleasantly surprised by the camper parking and the city!

Guter Platz um die Stadt und vor allem die wunderschöne Kathedrale zu besichtigen. Übernachten würden wir hier nicht. Die Rumpelstreifen machen ordentlich Krach, wenn ein Fahrzeug drüber fährt. Einige PKWs parken auch auf den Plätzen für Wohnmobile.

This is an amazing location. Right next to the city walls, plenty of space around you and spectacular views. We approached it from the north, that took us right through the town. Probability better approached from south, on the D967 leading to the D54.

This was our first night in France in our new camper so, can’t really compare to other French stopovers. However, all bays were opened, we didn’t have a problem with road noise (there is one bay next to traffic calming cobblestone which may be a nuisance with noise). Five minute walk into town worth a visit.

Sonntag/Montag (Ostern, es war viel los), bis Mitternacht und ab 7 Uhr war es an den Stellplätzen sehr laut (u.a. durch zwei auf der Straße befindliche Stein-Querhügel ("Verkehrsberuhigung")). Wir sind, ohne Frühstück, vorzeitig weitergefahren. Das Städtchen ist einen Besuch wert. Wer die Straße weiter hoch fährt, findet einen ruhigeren Parkplatz, auf dem auch Wohnmobile über Nacht standen.

Lovely place. The signs referred to have been removed, as the renovation work to the wall has been finished ahead of schedule.

A perfect place to park the camper for the day just below the stone City walls. Very winding road to access but fun if you like that kind of thing (we’re 7m+ and it was easy enough). Short walk up to the ramparts towards the cathedral, the tourist office and shops. PS. Possibly 9 spaces total here now as saw signs for 3 and 6 spaces.

Er staat een bord dat parkeren niet toegelaten is op 5 van de 6 plaatsen van 20/01/25 tot 20/06/25 om 18:00. We stonden daar al enigste. Leuke plek om ‘s avonds iets in de stad te gaan drinken en eten en zich niet meer moeten te verplaatsen.

All campavan spaces had cars parked in them the signs are clear this is a campavan only area. Visited town by parking in bus space and left- Very poor Laon

arrivés un dimanche à 16h, les places camping car étaient toutes prises par des voitures qui ne respectent malheureusement pas l'interdiction de stationnement pour eux. Fort dommage, nous n'avons pas pu visiter la ville

avons passé 2 nuits tranquilles. un peu bruyant avec le passage des voitures mais la nuit calme. proche du centre. jeux pour enfants juste à côté. tour de la citadelle à faire. avons dîné au restaurant le parvis du logis en face de la Cathédrale.

Beau spot avec une belle vue sur les plaines de Laon (à prononcer Lan) la route reste passagère et peut être bruyante surtout aux approches des pavés. Le centre ville est juste à côté, j’ai profité pour découvrir la micro brasserie de la ville, chouette moment avec une locale

Urocza miejscowość. Nocowaliśmy w drodze z Brukseli do Paryża. Bardzo spokojnie można się wyspać. Miejsca jest dużo. Na około jest trochę trawki dla pieska. Polecamy na nockę :)

Emplacement fort sympathique pour visiter la citadelle qui est à deux pas. Nous y avons passé une nuit sans problèmes mais les voitures roule très vite sur cette ligne droite! Emplacement gratuit mais aucune commodité à proximité.

Parking très bien placé pour la visite de la haute ville et les souterrains de la citadelle ,je ne suis pas resté la nuit mais possible

Great location to visit the city of Laon. Free all day and night parking. A little road noise now and again but to be expected.

Peaceful night, clean playground.

Stayed here last night with 5 other mohos. For a free parking spot 5 mins walk from town centre it was most acceptable. Local were playing boules until 11pm which all added to the French ambiance. No services but ideal for an overnight stop

Nothing to add about the parkplace. We did the Promenade des Remparts in the morning. 7 km of really nice views!! Town extremely well maintained all the way around the walls, withs lots of exercise equipment and nobody using it. Looks line the town is making an effort to keep inhabitants from moving away. Quite a few nice restaurants inside the walls and nice atmosphere.

Toller Platz! Guter Startpunkt, um Laon zu besichtigen und dort eine Nacht zu verbringen! Dazu noch umsonst!

Thought with the feedback on this park up it would be perfect but can say it was very far from it. We had a car go past several times throughout the night beeping its horn constantly. They would stop turn around and come back and do it again. Plus a lot of locals walking past the vans talking very loud and shouting. It’s a shame as it’s beautiful.

Super a côté des remparts. L'illumination s'arrête à 23.00. Petites cales suffisent pour être a plat. Merci la ville pour réserver 6 places spacieuses ! Idéal pour visiter la ville, et/ou faire une promenade vers la citadelle ou des remparts.

Free, very close to the centre, good views & quiet on an evening. A great, convenient spot just outside the city walls. There's green space nearby with a playpark for kids and place to walk dogs. You do have to drive up a bendy road to get here but it's wide and an easy drive. I'd definitely use this spot again.

Good views and easy access to the town. Some cars parked in the campervan spots when I arrived but I managed to get in. Large metal studs in the road delineate the 6 campervan slots as well as the 3 bus slots. Best to get to the site from the railway station side not through the town. Some noise from cars etc racing over the speed humps. Thanks to the town.

One of our favourite Aires, we've visited several times over the years. Great views, and a very interesting town. Since our previous visit, a drinking water tap has been installed by the children's playground (100m away), so if you have the means to transport it, fresh water is readily available.

Beaucoup de passages jusque 0h et dès le matin avec des voitures qui roulent très vite et les ralentisseurs sur la route qui résonnent fort. proche de grandes zones de jeux pour les enfants. pleins de balades à faire

Quelques emplacements pour les cc malheureusement squattés par les voitures malgré les panneaux réservés aux cc.

Zwar nur ein Platz an der Straße, dazu aber mit wundervollem Flair! Tolle Aussicht und ein Abstecher in die Altstadt ein absolutes Muss!!

Lovely views. Close to town. Steep drive up hill but worth it when you get there. Toilets at cathedral. Worth visiting.

Mooie parkeergelegenheid speciaal voor campers. Prachtig uitzicht en mooi dorpje. Overnachting was het rustig verder wel hard rijdend verkeer in de ochtend / avond. Die drempel heeft geen zin en geeft alleen meer geluid af.

très bon endroit, merci ville de Laon! petit conseil: si vous arrivez du nord, ne vous fiez pas à votre GPS qui vous fera traverser le centre ancien, assez compliqué... suivez les indications pour la ville médiévale

We were planning on staying in Reims but it was match day and the roads to aire were closed. So we drove to Laon the ancient capital of France before Paris. It’s a lovely 8-9km walk around the ramparts/ promenade. The 6 Motorhome spaces have no services and our 8m fitted ok.

Bonjour, c'est la deuxième fois que nous stationnons (deux nuits cette fois-ci)à cet endroit et toujours satisfait. Parking idéal pour visiter la cité qui est une pépites. Un peut de circulation le matin mais si non calme.

Ganz toller kostenloser Platz für die Nacht. Wenige Gehminuten von der Cathedrale entfernt. Diese ist ein Muß! Die Altstadt ist sehr sehenswert. Anfahrt ist am besten über die Serpentinenstrasse D54 und nicht durch die Oberstadt.

Excellent stop for overnight parking and short walk up the nearby stairs into the old town. Laon unfortunately disappointing for us. Class it as a town with a huge cathedral. Everything closed on a Monday. Expected more being a UNESCO city, but felt run down. Sorry! Park up great though at night with the lights. Nearest toilet at tourist info. Windy road up from the south no problem. Thanks.

Très belle endroit rien que pour nous ! Aux portes de la ville et à deux pas d'une très belle air de jeux. Pas de services.

très jolie vue, aire de jeux à proximité . par contre très bruyant au petit matin (6h/7h) les voitures commencent à circuler. difficile de sortir une table mais des tables de campings ont à proximité.

Malheureusement les places réservées aux camping-cars sont prises par les voitures. Il nous a fallu attendre 17:00 pour pouvoir stationner - Bonne nuit et parfait pour visiter la cité médiévale - Merci à la mairie - un passage de la police municipale permettrait de « protéger » les places réservées aux CC.

Le lieu est très sympa, proche du centre et offre un joli point de vue. Cependant il est très proche de la route...De la circulation la nuit et le balai des voitures démarre à 7h.

Très pratique pour visiter, mais dommage les voitures sont stationnées.

Très proche du centre ville historique. Parking le long de la route : 6 places réservées aux camping-car. Très légèrement en pente mais ça passe. En semaine, il y a de la circulation jusqu’à 21h et à partir de 7h. Nous y avons quand même passé une très bonne nuit. Les remparts s’éclairent dès le couché du soleil et c’est plutôt joli.

Sommes venus nous garer ici pour visiter Laon. Bien pratique. Merci à la ville de nous autoriser à stationner gratuitement. poubelles à proximité merci de laisser l'endroit propre.

Good spot if you can handle the deep purple lights for the city wall until 1am.

Endroit idéal pour visiter cette ville typique et sa cathedrale extraordinaire ! L'arrivée sur ce parking est très étroite ! Vue fabuleuse. beau lever de soleil. Très calme. La route est quand même là avec du passage jusque en début de soirée.

Nous avons passé une bonne nuit Vue imprenable, commerces à proximité et très belle ville médiéval. Nous étions 6 sur sur le cite 5 UK et nous B.

Super Parkplatz um Laon zu erkunden. Man ist sofort in der mittelalterlichen Stadt. Nachts hat sich der Verkehr sehr in Grenzen gehalten. Außerdem sehr sauber, Mülleiner wurden regelmäßig geleert.

Good for one night and easy access to the old town. There are two speed bumps that are noisy but there is little traffic at night. Public toilet at the cathedral open 24 hours.

Practical and dedicated overnight parking for campervans and motor homes. We arrived late and there was plenty of space still. We had a quiet night and it is only a few minutes to walk into the heart of the medieval town.

Its an excellent almost level spot to visit a really interesting medieval town, but we were harassed late at night by the antisocial behaviour of local youths who came to that area around midnight for a party.

Perfect location for easy reach of the Cathedral and tunnels, great views. The sound from the rumble strips is noticed, although really didn't stop us sleeping.

Great place to stay and enjoy Laon which is a pretty little town with bars, restaurants, shops and a cathedral (worth a look). It's supposed to be for 'camping cars' only but car drivers ignore the signs and park there regardless. Only one place available when we arrived at 4pm and not in the camping car area but we moved as space became available. Rumble strips are noisy so earplugs are good.

6 parking spots for campers. 1 downside noisewise is the speed bumps next to the parking spots on the road. nice place to visit Laon and with a play ground to keep the kids happy. 2 other campers where parked there when we stayed the night.

Really convenient place to spend the night. We stayed on a Friday night so it could be busier in the week but we were not disturbed at all by passing traffic. Laon is a very interesting medieval town well worth exploring. Don’t miss the stunning cathedral.

Parking on the side of the road. Great for access to the town. Had a car park in between us and another Motorhome. We were parked within the designated spaces for each Motorhome. Lots of people walk by and there were building works, so a number of lorries going by. Speed bump right next to the Motorhome parking so quite a bit of noise from that. I sleep well but it could disturb a lot of people.

Pratique, car proche de la ville. Par contre, très bruyant jour et nuit. Vitesse souvent excessive des véhicules qui passent le long des places de parking. Mais très bien avec un grand camping car, ou un poids lourd .

Stayed here for one night beside the Castle walls. We had no problems only the occasional car driving past in the night. Near the Cathedral and cultural centre on the City. Great view as well.

Bien placé au pied des remparts et dans la vieille ville. Il y a 9 grandes places, dont 3 réservées aux bus. Et donc 6 autorisées aux camping-cars. Pas mal de passages. Des petits camping-cars ou fourgons pourront se garer près du kiosque à peine plus loin.

Super little spot with a great view. Bars and restaurants a 10 minute walk away. A fascinating little town, not many tourists. Very quiet at night, but traffic starts at about 7:30. We made the mistake of parking next to the rumble strips! Would have been much quieter had we realised!

Une aire de stationnement pratique au pied de la vieille ville, en longueur, le long de la route d’accès. Pratiquée en journée, devrait être plus calme la nuit. Pas de service mais pour une nuit. Merci à la municipalité pour cet emplacement.

Super site avec une vue a en couper le souffle par temps dégagé, on est arrivé tard le jeudi soir et on a réussi à se faufiller; par contre on n'a pas payé de stationnement car parti de bonne heure

Cet endroit est parfait pour découvrir la cité médiévale de Laon. 6 places existent sur la Promenade de la Couloire et 7 places existent aussi rue Alphonse Juin. On peut y dormir sans problème, ce n'est pas uniquement un stationnement de jour. C'est la Police Municipale qui m'a indiqué ces deux sites. Un bon point pour eux !-)

Parking con espectaculares vistas. Os recomiendo evitar aparcar delante de los badenes. La ciudad tiene una bonita muralla y catedral, poco mas...

Parking idéal (sans service) pour visiter la vieille ville. Petit conseil : Réserver en avance sur internet la visite pour les souterrains. Celle-ci est très sympa à faire.
