Nice park up. Toilets at the side of the carpark were open until very late (if ever locked at all). Some noise from passing traffic but that didn’t bother me. Lidl across the street and if you do a short walk towards the sea you will come across loads of pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants (takeaway too). Still free from 6pm until 9am.
Great place to stop. Road can be a little noisy with boy-racers but it quietens down later. The showers mentioned in previous comments are outside on a wall and are cold water - for when you come off the beach. The toilets are good but the disabled ones are very smelly!
The van in the first photo is still here. Parked 4pm loads of space, have a disabled badge, so had a walk lm on the front with my daughter and the dog . coffee shops, pubs chippy near. I feel comfortable staying here overnight, the toilets are still open, 7.30pm. it's nice to have an odd free night in a nice place. I intend to go to Lidl to get some nice croissants in the morning.
Good spot with access to free toilets during the day. Ample parking too, with Lidl over the road if needed.
Big free car park overnight till 9 then paid £2 for 2 hours to have walk around area with dogs . Car park got busy 8ish , Toilets were open in morning but unsure if open overnight. Good signal & a lidl opposite if needed.
