Parcheggio in piano, sul mare, molto tranquillo. Molto carino anche il villaggio.

Stayed here on several occasions - very peaceful, lovely outlook. Handy to toilets at playground and handy to shops in town including a great laundry.

Der Platz ist traumhaft - besten Dank an die Stadtverwaltung - kurze Wege in die Stadt um sich zBsp mitdem notwendigsten zu versorgen - ruhige Nacht und super Meerblick beim Erwachen - keine wirkliche V+E am Platz,doch dies kann am Golfplatz erfolgen - Spaziergang zum Leuchtturm toll am Meer entlang.

Super lugar. Hemos pasado aquí la noche, despies de un paseo. Varias AC. No hay servicios pero andando 5 minutos hay varios cafés.

Asphalt-Parkplatz mit Meerblick. Viele Womo-Nachbarn:-). Der Wasserhahn bzw. Wassernachfüllmöglichkeit (für Flaschen und Kanister) ist an einer kleinen Mauer neben dem Betonhäuschen, das 20m oberhalb des Parkplatzes steht, hinter dem Geländer.

Grand parking, plutôt calme même si il y a du passage jusqu’à tard dans la nuit (les irlandais ayant la manie de laisser tourner leur moteur à l’arrêt, forcément ça fait un peu de bruit) mais c’était pas dérangeant. Vue superbe, promenade possible côté mer ou côté ville, plage accessible. Poubelles présentes par contre on n’a pas trouvé le robinet d’eau…

Been here a few times. Lovely little spot and generally quiet. (Unless it's foggy out to sea, then you'll hear the ship horns in the background. But not loud). Drinking water refill tap and bins. Pity theres no grey/black waste points, and a proper water tap. ( I'd happily pay a couple of pounds to use them if they had) Lovely walk up and around the lighthouse

Toller Ort direkt an der Küste mit hübscher Aussicht. Super nette Locals, mobiles Solarpanel kein Problem & leckere FishnChips im Ort. Mitten in der Nacht ein Auto mit angetrunkenen Leuten neben mir, die sich laut unterhielten. Bin ausgestiegen, um eine zu rauchen. Da haben sie sich überrascht entschuldigt und sind gefahren :D Sicher für Solo Reisende! Ein paar Camper sollten parken üben...

It's lovely that the town is prepared to leave this car park open to overnighters. A great spot, with sea views and promenade walk or round trip to the lighthouse. Pub does fantastic food and there's a well stocked 'Spar' shop for provisions. We 'parked' rather than 'camped' so no chairs, tables or awning while others treated it like a campsite...even cleaning teeth onto the ground. Really?!

Great spot toilets higher in the village. Highly recommend the Whitecliff inn. Very friendly and food great. A nice way to contribute to the community

Groot parkeerterrein pal aan zee. Mooi uitzicht op water en nabij gelegen kliffen. Vanaf de parkeerplaats kun je een mooi wandeling maken over een kustpad. Het dorp is op loopafstand. Rustige nacht. Thank you people of Whitehead that we could spend the night on this beautiful spot!

ne suivez effectivement pas le TomTom qui fait faire un détour par la colline le point d'eau ( pour remplissage) est hors-service, il y a désormais juste un point de remplissage des gourdes parking assez frequenté, pas très glamour, mais fais le job pour qui cherche une simple étape de nuit le village est superbe

Super quiet spot. There were about 6 vehicles that stayed last night. Lovely views right by the water and a great spot to watch sunrise. There's a walk round to the lighthouse and water refill and toilets nearby

nice large car park. lovely and quiet. had a group of hardy swimmers at night. phone signal OK. although, AVOID the Marine Bar, made to feel extremely unwelcome.

Der große Platz war gesperrt. Ein kleinerer daneben konnte gut genutzt werden. Schöne kleine Stadt nette Bewohner. Guter Spaziergang mit dem Hund.

Very spacious area, we stayed here when the larger carpark was taken over by a filming crew, but there was still room almost 30 motorhomes on Saturday night.

Beautiful views with a nice walk and little climb to the lighthouse. Some people and youngsters till around 10. After that peaceful till morning.

Super spot, y sommes restés 3 nuits, très belle promenade le long de la mer pour aller au phare, on peut faire les services au centre de golf à 5 mn gratuits, très calme et propre, merci à la communauté de nous laisser nous garer à cet endroit magnifique.

Great spot...tarmac car park overlooking the ocean with bins and only 2 mins away from bentry golf course where they have motorhome facilities plus Free showers

The toilets are 5 mins walk away next to the play area. I found them tricky to find! head up to the main road and walk straight on. Go past the bowling club, then turn left down the side of the boxing club. The very clean loos are at the back of the boxing club, facing the play area. Good luck!

Lovely spot to stop overnight. Great walk up to the lighthouse as well. Very quiet night. Bonus is it’s not far from the golf course where you can empty and fill.

Perfect place for one night, many campers. Right next to the sea and a small village. Felt safe.

Large car and van park by the sea with fabulous views. No obvious restrictions, tarmac and near level spaces. Easy walk to Whitehead seafront and local shops. 4km fabulous round trip walk to Lighthouse. Very quiet at night. New small sea front café on corner of adjacent car park walking towards Whitehead. What's not to like?

We only stopped during the day but I’d be very happy spending the night here as a solo female traveller. It felt very safe, nice & level, with great views. The coastal walk to Blackhead Lighthouse is worth it - an hour-ish round trip & some steep inclines/declines at the furthest point but beautiful views, interesting caves & lovely clean water for a quick paddle with the dogs.

Super spot pour passer la nuit, déguster une Guinness au bord de la piscine à marée et faire une belle balade au bord de mer (Black Head, départ au bout du parking) qui vous réserve plein de plaisirs. Elle vaut largement la fameuse Gobbins par ses points de vue comme par son histoire.

Wir verbrachten eine ruhige Nacht und fühlten uns sicher. Traumhaft am Meer. Empfehlenswert: Ganze Runde laufen zum Blackhead, über die Treppe zum Leuchtturm und zurück.

Great park-up on two levels (lower more flat than upper). I stayed 2 nights. Very peaceful. Lovely walk along the front to the shops & railway station. Train into Belfast in 30 mins (£10 return). Very friendly locals.

Wie beschrieben, großer flacher Parkplatz direkt am Meer. Guter Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigung von Belfast. Bahnstation ca. 5-10 Min fußläufig entfernt. Zugfahrt ca. 50 Min. nach Belfast. Hatten sehr ruhige 2 Nächte.

Stayed here for one night, large flat car park, no height barrier. About 12 other vans on a Thursday, can imagine on a weekend or in the summer will be very busy. Nearest toilet block about a 7/8 min walk away. Had a drink in the local football supporters club, locals really friendly.

Nice level flat car park with refill tap for water bottles at the back of the car park as well as bins. Toilets are a short walk away in town. Unfortunately, the night we arrived half the car park was closed due to TV crews for Dalgliesh. As the security guard said to us Irish cops and robbers. Absolutely recommend the lighthouse walk that starts from the car park.

Parking presque parfait. Très calme, assez plat et tres spacieux. 5 campervans la nuit dernière. Un peu de vent par moment mais très léger. Pas de toilettes directement dans le parking mais plus haut dans la rue. Pas de robinet d’eau mais une station de remplissage de bouteille si j’ai bien compris. Donc en gros aucun service. Juste parking avec belle vue.

Great park up and free. There is a water bottle filling point but little else apart from the view across Belfast Lough. Two pubs quite near and a football supporter’s club nearer. Some eateries in the village as well as a train station. Seems to me this place has got more popular lately, we may lose it all together. Twenty five vans last night!

Bis spät abends noch an und abfahrende Autos und wir hatten es sehr windig heute. Ansonsten ein schöner Spot, sehr zentral, ein großer Parkplatz am Meer an der Kleinstadt eben. Toiletten sind ca 5min zu Fuß, schließen um 20:30!

Would have been a perfect spot but some goon arrived at 11.30pm and blasted dance music from his car until 1.00am. Just luck of the drawer really.

Très bel emplacement pour une nuit. Belle vue d’où nous pouvions voir les premières terres d’Écosse. Ville à 5-10 min à pied avec 3 pubs (avec certains jours dès live de musique traditionnelle). Pas de WC directement sur le parking, mais vous en trouverez un petit plus haut a côté du musée du train.

Free flat car park with good sea views. Quiet night. Small green area adjacent with couple of picnic benches. Toilets are 5 minutes walk away and well kept. Nice walk to lighthouse.

A nice quiet place to spend the night and a good walk up to the lighthouse in the morning. We got a train into Belfast which took half an hour. Recommended.

Free parking also overnight. Including our van there were 8 more. Overall guiet during the night, some teenies came over but that's it. Nice spot for dog owners.

Great free parking. No restrictions. Stayed Sun of bank holiday about 10 others. Great views across all of Belfast lough. Take time to walk to lighthouse about 1hr round trip past caves and tunnel lots of steps. The euro relais terminal at golf course on other side of town useful for free black disposal. Number of eating places in town. 10mins walk. Only water bottle tap at top of car park.

Fantastic park up with lovely views. Spectacular walk to the lighthouse. We had a decent night's sleep here. The only tap we could see was a water bottle refill one so didn't fill the van up as we'd have been there all day! A few other motorhomes when we were there. Definitely recommend the park up - beautiful.

Lovely quiet spot. There are bins close by. Nice walk to lighthouse but be prepared for the umpteen steps to get up there! Great view of the ferry traffic to Scotland.

Nice spot , level parking lots of space, several other motorhomes and campers. Nice coastal walk to the lighthouse , chip shop and Chinese takeaway close by. service area just up the road. very busy daytime with walkers and dog walkers but very quiet overnight.

Great parking spot for the night. Flat, big and safe, lots of other motorhomes. Toilets 5-10 min walk near kids playground and soccer field but closed at night. Nice walking path to the lightgouse. Highly recommended stopping here after/before a day in Belfast. Skip Carrickfergus as too busy and noisy.

we have been here 4 nights in total. great place to stay near belfast if you want a quiet and secure place. Plenty of motorhome stayed on night. It's a big parking so you will have place even if you arrive late. The coastal walk just beside is a really beautiful thing to do.

Wunderbarer Platz. Sehr ruhig. Jetzt am Wochenende waren viele Womos da, aber keine Probleme. Abends kam die Polizei vorbei, hat geschaut ob alles in Ordnung ist und ist dann weiter gefahren. Die Wanderung zum Leuchtturm (Rundweg) ist sehr schön.

At the top level of the car park you can find a refill drinking water tap on the side. Only for refilling bottles.

Didn't stay all night but parked up here during the day, close to the gobins walk! toilets just up the hill beside the park and railway museum. open 8am to 9pm. nice walk to lighthouse and lovely views.

Eine Nacht hier übernachtet. Es ist ein grosser Parkplatz ohne Toiletten. Es war sehr windig und hat uns zwischendurch ziemlich durchgeschüttelt. Aber man ist direkt am Meer und gehört irgendwie dazu und die Aussicht ist einfach wunderschön. Was noch zu bemerken ist, man liegt in der Anflugsschneise des Flughafens von Belfast. Aber ich kann den Platz nur empfehlen.

Good spot. Noise etc. depends on who else is around - it’s a big space & there’s an upper level too (lower level is nicer - lawn & next to the sea). Lots of dog walkers coming & going. The toilets are now closed - there are some in the town by the bowling green/playground but abt 10 mins walk. Lovely view & cute town.

A lovely spot by the sea close to the picturesque village of Whitehead with its brightly coloured houses just a few minutes walk away. No services apart from bins but a beautiful place to spend a quiet night.

Pretty decent spot, right beside the boatyard and the town seafront. A nice walk to the lighthouse which we didn't get to do! You're able to park right overlooking the sea. no facilities that we saw.

Stayed Saturday 7th November and no bother what so ever. Very busy on a dry autumn day but no bother at all at night. Probably different in the summer. It’s got a great walk along shore and around the light house.

Nice quiet spot for the night, there is a coastal path that attracts the walkers etc until quite late. Toilets were closed when we stayed.

Wir waren von Dienstag auf Mittwoch dort, als Stellplatz ok. keine Toiletten, da der ganze Parkplatz hell erleuchtet ist schwierig mal in die Büsche zu verschwinden.

Waren am 25.8.19 da und hatten etwas Pech, da morgens die Bauarbeiten für die Veränderung des Parkplatzes begannen. Toller Platz mit Blick aufs Meer. Leider kein Ort zum Ausgehen, da keine Restaurants vorhanden, aber guter Ausgangsort, um mit der Eisenbahn nach Belfast zu fahren. Empfehlungswert.

Effectivement, il ne faut pas suivre les coordonnées GPS qui emmènent sur une route très étroite (j'ai eu beaucoup de mal à croiser un autre véhicule) et en cul de sac!!! par contre, sur le port près du chantier, nous y avons passé 2 nuits le Week-end très tranquilles

Attention chantier en cours sur le parking. Les pelleteuses commencent à entrer en action avant 8h.

Stayed here last night and quite a few youths come here, some were drunk or drugged up. Quite busy. Youngsters turned up in their cars playing extremely loud music but things did go quiet. Half the car park is at present a building site and the diggers were moving after 7am. Probably just unlucky with the youths but would not stay here on a Friday or Saturday night!

Een mooie plek om te overnachten, wel veel wind maar rustig. Spijtig dat de wandeling langs de kust afgesloten was wegens renovatie.

Très calme, très pratique pour aller à Belfast. En prime, on se réveille avec une belle vue sur la mer. Pour les services, il y a l'aire pour camping-car pas loin (on passe devant en arrivant et en partant)

Voilà les bonnes coordonnées GPS: N 54°45’21’’ W 5°42’9’’ pour une soirée et une nuit au calme, face à la mer et à 30’ de Belfast!

Calme, il y a de la place, parfait pour une pause d’une nuit !

Beau parking et belle vue. Rassemblement de jeunes en soirée mais dans le calme. Dommage que la partie non goudronnée serve de décharge à toutes sortes de détritus, planches, palettes, fauteuils. Toilettes hors d'usage

Même commentaires que précédent. Attention pour y parvenir ne pas suivre GPS qui va vous faire passer dans des chemins très difficiles. Il faut passer par le centre ville et c'est tout simple.
