Camping au bord d'une écluse où l'on peut aller à York en bateau les samedis et dimanches, et aussi les mardis et jeudis pendant l'été. Le bus 42 va à York en 20 minutes environ toutes les heures et demie. Les sanitaires sont impeccables et spacieux, les meilleurs que nous avons vus : dans chaque salle de douche il y a aussi un lavabo et un WC.
Camping estupendo, unas instalaciones impecables. Los mejores baños que hemos visto. Parcelas grandes y niveladas, de grava y césped. Tienen al lado una zona enorme para poder soltar a los perros y jugar con ellos. Una pequeña tienda en recepción. Todo de 10.
£41 per night for fully serviced pitch. Site and shower block immaculate. Our pitch was next to a very noisy road. We were woken at 6.30. Sitting outside was noisy. Very disappointed. Left early.
Really great campsite, we stayed 2 nights in our tent box and can’t really fault it at all. Toilet and shower block is absolutely stunning, 5 stars just for that. 20 min bus into York, stops right outside. 10/15 walk to local pub in Naburn. Great big field for the dog and nice walk by the canal
Turned up about 5:30pm having tried nearby. Told we could come back in the morning and had to book min 2 nights. Not very welcoming.
Lovely spacious pitches on beautiful site close to the river. Friendly owner who runs a campsite shop. There is a bus stop at the site entrance which has a direct bus into York. Facilities were great.
