We stayed here for one night before catching the first ferry in oban. Enjoyed dinner and live music at the pub. All as described, flat pitches with no facilities. We could pay at the bar for the overnight stay in cash.
Ici à Cologin, nous avons une Aire qui se compose de quatre emplacements pour le stationnement de nuit. Aucun service n'est proposé, tous les camping-cars doivent donc disposer de leurs propres installations à bord. Non seulement l'endroit offre de superbes vues, mais il se trouve à seulement 15 mètres d'un pub/restaurant rural acceptant les chiens qui sert des plats délicieux et des boissons rafraîchissantes (fermé le mardi et le mercredi). Il y a un parc de jeux, un café en plein air et des promenades depuis votre porte d'entrée. Nous facturons 10 GBP par nuit et c'est le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi. En espèces uniquement, s'il vous plaît. Veuillez noter que vous ne pouvez pas payer par carte au Barn Bar car il s'agit d'une entreprise distincte. Merci,

Here at Cologin we have an Aire which consists of four pitches for over night parking. There are no services on offer so all motorhomes must have their own facilities on board. Not only does the spot have great views it is just 15m away from a rural dog friendly pub/restaurant which serves delicious food and refreshing drinks (closed Tues/Wed). There is a play park, beers garden and walks all from your front door. We charge £10 per night and it’s a first come first serve basis. Cash only please. Please note you cannot pay with card at the Barn Bar as it is a separate business. Thank you,

Hier in Cologin haben wir einen Stellplatz mit vier Stellplätzen zum Parken über Nacht. Es werden keine Serviceleistungen angeboten, daher müssen alle Wohnmobile über eigene Einrichtungen an Bord verfügen. Der Platz bietet nicht nur eine tolle Aussicht, sondern ist auch nur 15 m von einem ländlichen, hundefreundlichen Pub/Restaurant entfernt, das köstliches Essen und erfrischende Getränke serviert (Di./Mi. geschlossen). Es gibt einen Spielplatz, einen Biergarten und Spazierwege direkt vor Ihrer Haustür. Wir berechnen 10 £ pro Nacht und es gilt das Prinzip „Wer zuerst kommt, mahlt zuerst“. Bitte nur Bargeld. Stayed here for 1 night on 21/10/25. We were the only van there on that particular night, and the restaurant was closed but we had everything we needed anyway. Very quiet and peaceful, would recommend. £10 well spent
ascobbie19/10/2025Great location as there is not much around Oban for campervans. Nice and level, lovely people and bonus of having a bar/pub/restaurant on site. Dog walks on the doorstep. We would come here again. Only slight downside was the lack of mobile coverage for me (my husband was fine!)

Nice quiet spot a few miles outside Oban in countryside. Quiet night after last ferry back from Mull. Barn had function on so we didn't sample food/ drink but looked nice. £10/ night which is similar to what you pay in oban to park overnight so nicer to stop over here.

A good place to stay overnight in the countryside side after your stay at Oban. £10 for the parking overnight. We were alone with our van. No passage, very calm night. Don’t miss The Barns bar and its delicious food, the country-folk style ambiance and the kindness of the staff. It will definitely embellish your stay. The surroundings are nice for a morning walk.
Williken13/07/2025Schöner ebener Stellplatz auf Schotter. wir haben im „The Barn“ gut gegessen und nicht zu teuer. Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Sehr schöner Wanderweg zum Loch Gleann á Bhearraidh. 1 Mile, wo ich super schwimmen konnte.
dodgertaylor03/06/2025The Stars are for the park up mainly. The Barn pub/restaurant is very welcoming and friendly but the food is average and expensive but it depends what you are used to. Very peaceful night. Would visit again but to park up and maybe a drink or two.

Wanted somewhere to eat and stay overnight. This was ideal. There are only 4 x spots and it is on a first come first serve basis. Hard standing without services. £10 pn max 3 x night stay.Very casual relaxed bar/ restaurant mostly frequented by guests staying in the lodge cabins but we were made very welcome. Great food.

We spent Hogmanay here at The Barn Bar and it was lovely, live music, beautiful food and wonderful welcoming people. Also dog friendly. May just be our go to for New Year's Eve every year. The Aire itself is basic, with level hard standing for 4 vans but you are 10 yards from the bar/restaurant with toilets etc. Lovely hills and forest walks nearby. Only £10 a night, highly recommended.

What a little gem this spot is. Off the beaten track and tucked away. These level gravel covered pitches are run by the house opposite but literally 15 meters away is a bar/restaurant that serves some of the nicest food you will find. Will most definitely be back again

An amazing overnight stop, lovely views, and a very lovely welcome upon arrival. The food at The Barn was awesome and make you have the full Angus breakfast on the weekend. We will definitely be back.

Ideale plaats voor als je in de buurt van Oban bent. Oban zelf is te vermijden om te overnachten. Wegens zeer weinig plaats en de plaatsen die er zijn, zijn moeilijk te reserveren als niet UK inwoner. Vriendelijke host. Op enkele meters van een restaurant. opgelet: moeilijker bereikbaar voor grotere campers

Very beautiful spot in the middle of nowhere. Nice contact with Anne via WhatsApp to check available on the day. Bar and restaurant was closed, so we didn’t get to check this out. Good place to stay for a night and very close to Oban.

Great location so quiet and peaceful. £10 for an overnight stay. Brilliant little pub restaurant on site and playpark for the kids. Walk to a lake through the forest directly from the site.
