Hamperley campsite is a lovely flat site nestled under the long mynd in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Shropshire hills. The campsite has shower and toilet facilities which are situated at the edge of the woodland which is attached to the campground.

Lovely campsite just a large square pasture full of buttercups very peaceful and well located for a walk up to the Long Mynd.
Lloyd91024/05/2025Lovely peaceful campsite stayed for one night the first night out in my new van. Large flat field only one other van there! They owner came round to collect the £10 at 9:30 am, my cat was very welcomed. £1 for the showers last ages I put two in so the next person has a little gift! Nice short woodland Trail attached to the camping field. Lovely stay.

Staying here in August 2024 for one night, Lovely peaceful stop over nestled under the trees with are small camper van, amenities in a country style cabin in the trees clean and tidy, the site owner popped around to collect the fee of £10 and was very happy to stop and chat " maybe I kept him chatting " definitely planning a longer stop in 2025 .

Great site. Excellent price too. Rocked up early without booking but it was okay. Soon the owner came round and I paid my fee £10 per night. There’s a toilet block just next to the field with two cubicles, two working showers and pot washing area. £1 for the shower, the water is hot and plenty long enough for a good wash. There is also a shed next door for chemical dump, clean up and water. A water tap is attached to exit gate.

Excellent site, flat, spacious, welcoming owners, good toilets fantastic views, quiet.
