De bushalte is op 5 minuten lopen en de rit duurt 45 minuten voor £ 2 retour. Buiten is er een barbecue en een terras om te dineren.
Op 10 minuten lopen vindt u een supermarkt, een pub en een omheinde weide waar honden kunnen worden uitgelaten.
Huisdieren en kinderen zijn welkom. Er is een visvijver aanwezig. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen in het Peak District National Park.
Het is raadzaam om te bellen om teleurstelling te voorkomen, maar we doen altijd ons best om aan uw wensen te voldoen.

Attention, le tarif est passé à 30£ la nuit. Le terrain est bien entretenu et le propriétaire est sympa. Le bus est à 5 minutes à pied pour rejoindre Manchester en 45 minutes environ pour 2£. Par contre c'est très bruyant, juste à côté de l'autoroute et les avions de ligne passent juste au-dessus même la nuit. Les sanitaires ne sont pas très propres. C'est trop cher pour la qualité du service.
Friendly but We called at 7pm asking if there was any place and he said yes. But when we were in front of the farm the gates were closed so we called again and he gave us other directions now leading to his house. I wish he said that in advance bc for 25£ we’d prefer to be in a campsite with a grass pitch and Level instead of in front of his house porch on the cement,with cameras and on a slope..
We stayed at Peter‘s place for two nights. The view was amazing and Peter was super nice and helpful! You can take the train to Manchester and it’s around a 15-20 min journey. The train station is a 15 min walk away. We always had access to the toilet and fresh water and Peter lets you have a shower at his. Great guy and great place to stay!
Stayed here for 2 nights for a concert in Manchester. Location is nice and safe and the center can be easily reached by train or uber. Peter is a fun guy to talk to, greetings from the Belgians!
My son and I stayed for two nights whilst we travelled into Manchester. The van was safe. Peter was very friendly, helped with directions and gave advice (and coffee). We had access to a toilet at all times. I am sure that if I had asked for extra help, I would have received it. It was a great location and met our needs well. We would stay again. Thank you Peter.

Best place to pitch up if you’re going into Manchester!We pulled up and knocked on the main house of Longlands farm, met by a young guy, was very friendly and gave us a perfect spot with views overlooking Manchester; £10p/night without hookup but we had access to a toilet and fresh water. Very safe! Left our van here for 2 nights whilst we stayed at a friends in Manchester. Would 100% stay again
Excellent PFN spot. Stayed here for 2nights, was met by the host Peter who is a motorhome owner himself and was full of useful information. Let us stay in front of his home as the land where we should have been was too soft. EHU, water and a toilet £15 per night. Even treat us to some free range eggs. Can’t compliment it enough,we will be back.

Fantastic spot surrounded by fields while also being close to central Manchester. As advertised, this is a farm stay—the best spots on here usually are—so you have all the facilities you need (water, toilets, hook up) as well as Pete being kind enough to offer showers etc in his own (gorgeous!) home if wanted. Pete could not have been more welcoming or generous—thank you, we’ll be back!
Nice views of the Manchester Skyline in the distance with sunset behind. it is close to the motorway but we didn't particularly notice the noise from it. some animals, swings and climbing frame for the kids. relaxed atmosphere, Pete was friendly and welcoming. it is not a campsite but Pete has set up some electrical hook ups, taps and a toilet that is accessible from outside. enjoyed it. thanks
Je modifie mon commentaire qui n’était pas exact : le pictogramme ne correspond pas, c’est chez un particulier, c’est difficile à trouver c’est petit, ce n’est pas réellement aménagé, je pense qu’il n’y a pas tous les services affichés. Nous avons vidé les eaux gratuitement mais sommes repartis.
It's a bit hard to find, because it is on someone's property. We could park our van next to the horse stables and there we had a hook up. You have an nice view over Manchester and the host is really friendly. We could use them as they bathrooms in his house and his washing machine. Train station to Manchester is really close. Conclusion: nice host, great value for money.
