This was a really great spot to park overnight. No one else around, the road was dead after dark which was early seeing as it’s November. Woke up to the pheasants and a couple of red kites. What’s not to love. EE users have a 2 bar 4G signal. Remember to leave no trace.
One of the most stunning places we stayed. The nature is beautiful! It’s not noisy, there is very little traffic. No services at all.

parked up for a few nights. Unintentionally, due to our cat going missing, CHECK OF GOOGLE REVIEWSTO FOR INFORMATION. the road can be busy during the day but quite gone 10pm with the odd car during the night. the views are lovely. can get popular with cars pulling in and out to view the ringing stone. lovely clear running water from the stream (drinkable, confirmed by gamekeeper)

Perfect spot, quiet road at night, lovely views, beautiful streamside path up the hill.
Quite place in beautiful surroundings with hardly no traffic. Park your van by the creek (dead end path 10 meters north of the stonebridge) where you come a bit further away from the road.

Perfect spot for overnight, sourrounded by nature. We woke up to the sound of birds & sheep.
Stayed just down the road from here, on a grass/rocky verge which was nice and flat. Just off a quiet road so slept great.
Lovely flat grassy spot by the side of a stream. Quiet after 1900hrs till about 0700hrs. Lovely views to wake up to and to enjoy. Couldn't wish for anymore.
Très joli petit spot en herbe pour 3 vans mais pas beaucoup de plat. Petit ruisseau et l'étrange Ringing Stone à proximité. La route n'est pas passante la nuit, le paysage est magnifique quelque soit la météo. Merci de respecter ;) Bon Trip à tous !!

Quiet spot just off a small mountain road. a small creek runs just a couple meters away. Very quiet at night, not a single car after 20h00. Couple midges at sundown but we've seen much worse. Herd of sheep came to say hello while we were having breakfast. Ground is fairly level, would stay again.
Perfect spot, set back off road - very quiet at night. Plenty of of space for a few vans. Sat and watched Golden Eagles soaring from the van! Reasonably level pitches with a little manoeuvring. Beautiful view down the valley and next to a small stream. 4G signal. Would stay again.
Beware of the big ice puddle, it’s deeper than it looks and you will get stuck. Took me 45 minutes to get out with rescue boards and snow chains, in a VW crafter with off road tyres on. Other than that looks like a good park up for the night (so far)
Massive boulder blocking the bridge so you can't cross it in a vehicle. Only stopped for lunch but I can imagine it's dead quiet at night.
Dead quiet and pitch black. one of the few stops where you are completely alone.
Excellent place for a stop over. Very quiet road after about 8pm. There’s a sign saying no fires and unfortunately people have ignored that as there was evidence of fires. Midgies came out in force as the sun disappeared.
Remote spot with great views. Walking paths leave right from the gate. Space for a couple of vans. Only 10mins or so from Ballater.
En retrait d’une jolie route. Très peu passant et calme, à plat, au milieu des lapins, des perdrix et des chevreuils. C’était très beau. Pas de poubelle. Pas de restriction particulière.
