We arrived on 1.11.2025, the campsite was open, but there was no one at the reception. Payment is made via email... we really liked the campsite, the parking space at the very back by the beach was great, everything was clean, trash cans were taken out, the water in the shower was hot, the toilets were clean, the kitchenette had a stove, fridge, and detergents... I rate it very positively...
Ich bin aktuell im Urlaub hier (ohne Wohnmobil) und habe mir den CP aus Interesse mal angeschaut. Der Platz wirkt recht einfach. Die Straße zum CP würde ich mit meinem Wohnmobil von 3,10m Höhe und 7,15m Länge (kleine/schmale Kurven) nicht schaffen. Bäume die in die Straße ragen und meist nur eine Durchfahrtsbreite von 2m. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist aber recht schön.
Δυσκολο, μα οχι ακατορθωτο, το να περασεις με καμπερ, απο τον στενο δρομο, οπου σε οδηγει το GPS !!!! Μικρο καμπιγκ, γεματο αρμυρικια, και καλαμιωνες, εγκαταστασεις που χρειαζονται ανανεωση, χαμηλες τιμες, ευγενικο προσωπικο, ταβερνα που δεν δικαιολογει τις τιμες της, φανταστικη παραλια, με σχεδον παντα μεγαλο κυμα, και μεσα πετρες, που αν δεν προσεξεις, κυνδυνευεις !!!!
Campingplatz OK, um Rethymnon zu besuchen. Wir taten uns ein wenig schwer einen Stellplatz zu finden, der nicht zu verwachsen war von Bäumen. Strom kommt über eine Mehrfachsteckdose und Sanitär eher alt und nicht sehr sauber.
Saubere Wc und Duschen, sehr freundlich. Kleiner Cp direkt am Meer. Lieber zahl ich 24€ für sauber und freundlich!!!
Seule offre de camping sur Rethymnon, à "l'ancienne"... On apprécie ou pas. Sanitaires corrects mais vieux. Demanderaient une grosse rénovation. Eau chaude de 18h30 à 22h00.... Raccordements électriques de fortune sur des multiprises... Point fort avec accès direct à la plage. Le prix est excessif par rapport à ce qui est proposé
Check in et check out par mail si la réception est fermée. Quelques places pour camping car. Tous les services sont disponibles. Sanitaires vieillots et pas propres. Accès à la plage. Ambiance très glauque (avis personnel) Pas de prix d’affiché, avons payé 24 euros par jour avec l’électricité (un peu cher)
Wir waren mit zwei Kastenwägen vier Nächte 19.-23. Okt 2024. Freundliche Betreiber, zeitweise nach Plan heiße Duschen, schwaches WLAN, naturbelassene Dünen mit schöner grossen Beach, ~30 Min zu Fuß bis Rethymno-Anfang (Taxistand) bzw. >1 Std ins Zentrum der Altstadt. Schön gelegene Taverne die saisonbedingt ab 22. Okt geschlossen wurde.
Naturbelassener Campingplatz, jedoch sehr ungepflegt. Frauenduschen kompl. abgesperrt. Im Sandstrand durch Planierraupe Plastikteile eingepflügt. Sanitäranlagen renovierungsbedürftig. Keine Waschmaschine. Duschen heiß. 1 Womo 2 Personen ohne Strom, Nebensaison 25€ überteuert. Schade!
Campground is open, just call the number or just drive in. Nice hot showers and direct access to the beautiful beach.
Im November ist die Rezeption nur kurzzeitig morgens besetzt. Das Navi weisst den kürzesten Weg: Über eine unbefestigte Straße und dann steht man 20m vor dem Ziel vor einem Schwenktor welches mit einer Kette und Schloss verschlossen scheint. Wenn man nicht zurück will und durch das enge Wohngebiet fahren will: Laut Besitzer: Schloss und Tor öffnen und dann nach Durchfahrt wieder so schließen.
We contacted by email and were provided directions for a large van (8M). No problem with access and chose our own space. Somewhat limited but ended up with something nice. Taverna is good and not expensive- 6.50 for Greek salad or club sandwich. 3.5km bike ride along beachside bike path to Old town. Supermarket and laundry less than a km away. The beach is nice.
Camping non adapté aux 7,20 m. Très peu d'emplacements adéquats en raison des arbres trop bas. Les sanitaires mériteraient un gros rafraîchissement mais tous les services sont ok sauf la machine à laver. Accueil très sympathique.
The campground is o.k. for basic needs. Don't eat in the taverna, the food there is not worth the money (September 2023)!
Camping vraiment charmant. De plein pied sur une immense plage pas vraiment intéressante mais propre. Ambiance zen et environnement soigné et très ombragé. Une majorité de tentes et quelques places pour des vans jusqu’à 6 50 sans problème. Assez cher quand même.
Abbastanza silenzioso e poco illuminato (almeno dove ero parcheggiato io). Bagni passabili anche se il campeggio è un po' lasciato all'anarchia dei campeggiatori. Fosse curato un po' di più dall'accoglienza degli ospiti alle varie strutture, meriterebbe il prezzo richiesto che trovo un po' alto rapportato a ciò che offre.
Een zeer mooie camping met een prima taverne. Uitstekende ligging, dichtbij het centrum van Rethymnon waardoor je er wandelend naartoe kan. Zeer vriendelijke en erg behulpzame uitbater. Is zeker een aanrader!
Nice campsite, 30 min walking from old Rethymno town. Endless beach with straight access. Very quiet night. Only bad point, lot of moscitos :(. Reasonable prices in general. We find a bit expensive only the price per person.. But is season and.. So...
Toller Camping Platz, in off-season kann man stehen wo man will... Auch das Restaurant ist sehr gut / günstig und sie kochen frisch... Auf jedenfall eine Empfehlung.
Sehr netter Campingplatz mit sehr nettem Betreiber. Sanitär regelmäßig gereinigt. Ewig langer und toller Strand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Very chilled and pleasant campsite in March. One set of showers and toilets open. The facilities are a little old but work perfectly. Loads of hot water. Wi-Fi was excellent though. Christopher was very helpful and friendly. Sea was nice and clean and the beach had also been cleaned. A good stay and would return. Visit Yiorgis Harris-paraskos and watch him make thin filo pastry the traditional way
Wir kennen diesen Campingplatz schon seit vielen Jahren. Er ist immer noch der beste an der Nordküste Kretas. Toll ist die Bepflanzung und die urige Taverne mit super Blick auf den breiten Sandstrand davor.

This is a well organised and clean site … beautifully set out with all the facilities you need … the area around the site is not so pretty but you don’t need to leave the site as it is straight onto the beach … lost a star as barking dog in the night but this is Greece … not many spaces for campers … would come again
Le camping est bien situé, au calme dans la végétation et au bord de mer. Propreté irréprochable. Seul bemol le prix: 2 pers + van +électricité 33€ / nuit .
Very friendly, if nobody is there the phone number is indicated, someone will pick up and come to open within minutes. Lovely details (flower pots, helpful signs); beautiful beach. We walked on the beach to Rethymno, if you want to spend the evening there and don’t feel like walking all the way back you find a taxi easily (9€ incl tip). We‘d go back there anytime. Pretty glamping tents for rent!
Sehr entspannter und gepflegter Campingplatz, mit guten Sanitäranlagen. Freundliche Begrüßung, schöner Strand, schattige und gemütliche Plätze, viele Möglichkeiten die Hängematte zu befetigen. 10min mit dem Fahrrad in die Stadt, auf dem Radweg an der Promenade. TOP!
Spent two nights in early november. All quite average (facilities, spots, beach, surroundings).
Schön angelegter Campingplatz mit vielen schönen Plätzen und Nischen. Für Wohnmobil 7m+ wenig Möglichkeiten zum stehen. Duschen/WC für lokale Verhältnisse in Ordnung und sauber. In der Nebensaison heißes Wasser rund um die Uhr. Netter und völlig unkomplizierter Besitzer.
Campeggio carino ma un po' caro soprattutto per i servizi interni offerti al campeggiatore. una tenda e due adulti in stagione alta sono 22 euro (senza elettricità). Inoltre consumare seduti al bar del campeggio 4,20€ una bottoglia d'acqua e un caffè espresso!!!
Very peaceful, laid back camping. Essential but clean, satisfies all basic van needs. Many spots in the shade, very close to a huge free beach, lovely receptionist sells homemade essential oils, cheap car/scooter rent to explore the area. The taverna looks beautiful but unfortunately it was closed during our visit. 27€ per night for 2 people, 1 camper and electricity. Just be careful when you drive down the small road that leads to the camping if you have a +300 cm van. Would go back!
Schöner Campingplatz fußläufig zur Altstadt (ca. 45min). Sanitäranlagen sind gut und die ganze Anlage ist umsäumt von Pflanzen. Bis 11uhr gibt's Frühstück und die Strandliegen sind inklusive. Wir kamen erst 22uhr an und konnten einfach rauf fahren und nächsten Tag einchecken. Achtung: Nicht der Einfahrt mit dem Schild folgen, da der Zaun am Ende verschlossen ist. Fahrt lieber durch die Gassen.

Pour un fourgon Ducato 6m , 2 personnes 23 euros .... Très belle plage. 7 euros de taxi pour le centre ville ou 1 euro par personne pour le bus. Cuisine de bonne qualité.
Do not take the route that the GPS application will suggest you unless. Take the route that I show you with red in the photo.The camping has all the basic services with direct access to the beach. The toilets need renovation, but are clean.To go to Rethymno city center, use bicycles, e-bikes (Lime is present), or simply walk. It s only 4 Km seaside pedestrian route (marvelous).
Camping très agréable mais taverne fermée le 25 octobre. Immense plage de sable fin mais beaucoup de cailloux dans l'eau et de gros rouleaux lors de notre passage. Sanitaires très propres et eau bien chaude. Accès facile à la ville à vélo. L'accès au camping se fait par une route en terre munie de gendarmes couchés car la route par le village est souvent encombrée de voitures mal garées.
Camping simple et ombragé. Idéal pour visiter Réthymnon.

Le camping est bien placé pour visiter rethymnon.
Il n'y a pas beaucoup de possibilités à Rethymnon à part ce camping sympa en bord de plage. Des commerces tout à côté, la ville à 4 km.
