Great facilities for emptying toilet didn't stay overnight
Parking gratuit au bord du canal avec un café. point elsan et poubelles. aucun signe restreignant la nuit, c'est donc une possibilité mais nous ne sommes pas restés.
Free car park next to the canal with a cafe. elsan point and bins. no signs restricting overnight so is a possibility but we didn't stay.

northernraider20/09/2025very busy and very small carpark, you'll be lucky to get a space, staying overnight would be difficult and cheeky.
vwcamper77622/08/2025Great little spot to park up for the night. Very very quiet ( we arrived around 6.30 pm) Beautiful walk along the canal. Local pub is only a small walk away which serves great food.
johnboyparknight14/08/2025This is such a great park up - right at the side of the canal - with water, bins and an elsan point - The little village has a Londis shop and a pub (used the shop not the pub). Funny for such a “middle of nowhere” spot is the noise from so many sources - barges, dog walkers, church bells, ducks and trains (just flying past). None of the above bothers me one bit though - I’d defo come back here
HerveMaelle27/07/2025Nous y avons passé une nuit très calme. À proximité d'un petit pont (un peu raide) qui rejoint le centre du village. Plein de petites péniches accostées le long du canal avec des canards qui se baladent. Très bucolique.

Great little stop over on way to the motorhome show at Newbury . Elsan point and water if needed . Would definitely stop again .

Great spot right on the canal! Was able to fill our water but unsure if safe to drink. Great facilities for emptying toilet and big bin area. Gets busy with cars and people coming and going on walks etc so expect some noise in the mornings and during the day. Local pub was closed (Monday), best to check opening times online. Overall, great stay!

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was nearly full with cars so we were lucky to get a space. Next to canal, road & railway. Flat (our motorhome 7.5 m) Very quiet at night and felt safe. Bit of traffic in the morning. 5 min walk to village for shop, pub (3 Tuns does food) and Post Office which has fresh croissants in the morning.
