Does what it says, quiet, peaceful and dark with a lovely outlook across the fields. I for one am happy to pay £10 to know we are parked up on flat ground with the landowners permission. We can enjoy a glass of wine safe in the knowledge that we won't be bothered by anyone and we aren't causing a nuisance to people who live in the area, which incidentally is outstanding.
eurosully05/09/2024Nice and peaceful 2 nights in the paddock with the lovely sheep as neighbours. Worth a walk into Powfoot as the village is pretty, plenty of waders on the estuary and friendly locals. We walked to the caravan park to the cafe and back across golf course and song the river back to Powfoot.

They are now asking £10 per night (as at 13/05/24) - too much for just parking in a farmyard (there is also a very small grass field). There are absolutely no other facilities offered.

Perfect overnight. Peaceful and off the beaten track. If the gate is locked then call the hosts who will give you access.
