Sehr ruhige Nacht auf der Durchreise verbracht. Im Ort haben wir sehr gut zu Abend gegessen.
Nous nous sommes arrêtés une nuit, parking asphalté face à la mer et une route qui se termine à l'amarrage d'un bateau de pêche. Nous avons très bien dormi, en silence. Le matin, vous pourrez voir des flamants roses dans l'eau !
We stopped one night, asphalted parking facing the sea and a road that ends at a fishing boat mooring. We slept very well, in silence. In the morning you can see flamingos in the water!
Eines Nachts hielten wir an, auf einem asphaltierten Parkplatz mit Blick auf das Meer und einer Straße, die an einer Anlegestelle für Fischerboote endete. Wir haben sehr gut und ruhig geschlafen. Morgens kann man Flamingos im Wasser sehen!
Ci siamo fermati una notte, parcheggio asfaltato di fronte al mare e a una strada che termina presso un attracco di pescherecci. Abbiamo dormito benissimo, nel silenzio. Al mattino si vedono i fenicotteri in acqua!

KCtravel04/04/2026During our trips back and forth to Greece, this is the third stopover here in the town of Methoni. Some friendly strays but the night was quiet, both from the dogs and the traffic even though it was a Friday night. We went out to eat at the closest restaurant, Panagiota fish restaurant. Excellent grilled fish and good wine. I recommend Methoni to everyone!

Es war eine sehr ruhige Nacht, ein Hund hat meine Stoßstange markiert. Am Morgen war ein Fischer hier, wollte nichts von mir, somit alles bestens.
Loft7923/12/2025Toller Platz zum übernachten. Sehr ruhig mit einigen wenigen Autos, welche uns nicht störten. Fünf Minuten entfernt ein tolles Fischlokal mit bester Ware, überaus freundlich und tollem Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Können wir nur empfehlen.

Angi1121/07/2025Très bon spot pour dormir au calme. Endroit idéal pour passer la nuit au calme, à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la plage du village. Il y a plusieurs restaurants autour, mais aucune foule, l’ambiance est très paisible même en pleine saison. ? Conseil : mangez à la taverne « Η Παναγιώτα » (prononcé I Panayiota). On y trouve du poisson très frais et d’autres plats grecs délicieux. La patronne, Panayiota, est là depuis 35 ans, elle connaît tout le monde et peut garantir votre tranquillité pour dormir sur place après le dîner.
Bullyadventures08/04/2025Stayed here one night. Lovely spot. Looks like the trash has been removed. Place was clean. Unfortunately no flamingos, possibly because of the wet and cold weather.

Second time we have spent a night here. Convenient when in transit, easy access, lots of room, flat tarmac. Quiet at night, water here and (better) in the village. Lovely view and of course flamingos. Shoreline rather smelly and full of rubbish, such a shame. A few local dogs come to say hello but friendly.

Bon emplacement bien plat et demi-goudronné, calme, vue sur la lagune et quelques flamands attardés. Quelques restos ouverts et sympas. Un robinet d’eau à disposition en face du parking. Petite marche possible.

Standen hier Mitte November über Nacht, um am nächsten Morgen weiter nach Thessaloniki zu fahren. Waren alleine. Sehr ruhig. Am nächsten Morgen konnten wir Flamingos ganz in der Nähe sehen.

Wir haben etwas weiter an der Straße direkt am Meer gestanden. Tagsüber hat es immer mal wieder Autos, nachts absolut ruhig. Mehrere Restaurants fußläufig...

Habe hier eine relativ ruhige Nacht verbracht-wenig Verkehr. Es gibt eine Wasserstelle. Ein paar Bäume spenden Schatten. Leider etwas Müll herumliegend. Für eine Nacht ok.
