Un long espace pour garer les véhicules, idéal pour les promeneurs avec chiens. Très calme et hors de tout quartier résidentiel. Un certain nombre de camping-cars et de camping-cars profitaient de ce long tronçon d'approche d'un port désaffecté mais convivial pour les visiteurs. Une nuit paisible pour dormir pendant plusieurs nuits.
A lengthy space to park vehicles ideally suited for walkers with dogs. Out of any residential area. A number of campervans and motor homes were taking advantage of this long stretch of approach to a disused but visitor friendly port. A peaceful night. A few boy racers until 11pm but then silence. Dog walkers started arriving about 8am. Small cafe with toilets near the lock.
Ein großer Parkplatz für Fahrzeuge, ideal geeignet für Spaziergänger mit Hunden. Sehr ruhig und außerhalb jeglicher Wohngegend. Eine Reihe von Wohnmobilen und Wohnmobilen nutzten die lange Anfahrtsstrecke zu einem stillgelegten, aber besucherfreundlichen Hafen. Ein ruhiger Schlaf für mehrere Nächte.

Arrived late and stayed one night. A couple of boy racers but no issues. A couple of other motorhomes and vans, as well as two caravans were there already. Had a nice little walk with the dog around the harbour the next morning too. Ok for a stop over.
Good for one night stop over. If you are lucky the Blackberry bushes are in season and there are thousands to pick. Not great for dog walking as not much green but down by the old harbour there are dog waste bins
Nice enough night. 1:30 am some wally decided to use it as a race track, but didn't they didn't linger. Vans of various sizes, no height limit and loos and bins further down the track. Loos closed at night.
excellent spot for the night, very quiet, lots of lovely walks around. a couple of motor homes parked up.
Nice wide road to park on with lovely walks around the locks and along the side of the estuary. Five vans parked up here tonight with a few dog walkers about.
Very long road down to the harbour car park allows plenty of room for large motorhomes as well as small camper vans. Harbour carpark has around 10 bays but has barrier with restricted height and says no overnight camping. Not sure when it is open/closed
Excellent spot for the night. Very quiet night. Lovely walk to the coffee shop by locks and along the coast
Barrier (up to 2mt) was open. Toilets closed. We wanted to stay for the night but decided to leave. It was very busy with constant coming and going of cars, about 15 just in the short amount of time that we were there.
Stayed a few times without incident but last night heard two loud 'pings' off the metal of my van, sounded like air rifle pellets. Put me off coming back.
