This was a lovely quiet car park we went to the Cross Keys Pub. The locals were great coming to talk to us but it was a pity they didnt do meals. It waa a halfway stop to Mintlaw Aberdeenshire.

Very quiet spot, but slightly sloping. The people from the community center were also very nice and let us use the bathroom. The negative reviews seem to come from local residents who don't want campers here.

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der Anwohner – man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Im angrenzenden Gebäude gibt es saubere Toiletten und sogar die Möglichkeit zu duschen, was für Camper natürlich ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist. Die ganze Atmosphäre war angenehm und entspannt, wir konnten ohne Störungen übernachten.

Fantastic car park at the community centre. Douglas is a lovely village with excellent park ups (plenty overnight options too). Ignore the 1 star reviews which have been made by locals to keep people away. This is an excellent car park, plenty of spaces for vans and has electric charging points for electric cars/vans too. While parking here there are toilets at the car garage.

Nowhere in Douglas that felt safe or comfortable. You’re better off going to Abington to the long stay car park.

Tiny car park surrounded by and over looked by houses. Not suitable for over night in a campervan.
