Unfortunately after a very quiet start to the night I had boy racers sat with noisy exhausts and pointing their headlights directly at the back of my van. This made me uneasy after a while so I moved on. A very quiet spot though if it wasn’t for this.
1 bar of 02 signal at the place but improved by the church at top of the hill. not very big space and there is 2 houses nearby . but still nice park up
The parking area is smaller than I expected, having read the reviews here. I'm not sure too many motorhomes would fit here without the locals being upset about losing their spaces for dog walking. We couldn't get TV reception and only had poor phone service, probably due to being blocked by the hill the church sits on. Very central to Reddich and a short drive to a Morrison's Supermarket.
We stayed here in a 7m Motorhome. It's a busy dog walking and cycling area from early morning til around 9pm, but between those times nice and quiet. No facilities but bins available and well lit,a good free stopover.
Ein ruhiger Schlafplatz für eine Nacht, keine Boyracer, keine Annehmlichkeiten vor Ort. Es ist nicht so abgeschieden wie es auf den Photos wirkt, fühlte mich sicher.
Perfect little stop over with lovely walks around a lake! We only stayed one night but I’m sure you could stay more! I reckon if you stayed in the summer months you’d be able to have picnics around the lake, suitable to take your dog also! Only downside the boy racers at night, not sure if it’s a nightly thing or we was just unlucky
