We were looking for a stop over as it was getting late pulled up around the back of Esso wife went and asked if we could over night "yes no problem " bonus was a Gregg's in the morning slepped well for saying you ain't far from the busy A1 shall use this again as got cameras and floodlights on carpark

Right on the A1. Scruffy little place, but surprisingly a peaceful night. Very difficult to find a level spot, but not impossible.
Okay for a quick spot. Rather small service station with no real amenities
Stayed here a couple of times and always my stop of driving from London to the north. Considerably quiet even though next to the motorway. Spaces are not designed for big vans so if in a lwb like myself I recommend parking on the left to not cause any upset. No amenities or unless BK open.
