Stayed here last night Excellent stop over. The bar staff informed us that 1.You must check with hotel for permission as they are limited to members of vans. 2.Pay £12 at pub (not machine), you will then get a receipt that can go towards food . They were unaware that location was on this app. Hope this helps .
Great Park Up. You can only use £12 parking fee at hotel for food not drinks. Do not pay to go to the Waterfalls. Leave car park, cross the road, turn left, walk 25 meters, to the Public Access. Take the path on right and follow down stream to foot bridge, cross the river turn right & follow path to see Waterfalls for free 24/7. This is not suitable for Wheelchairs/ Prams. Steep steps.
Fab stopover, Hotel staff were loverly. Carpark is gravel, NO potholes, Lots of bins, nice bench area. NOTE: ANPR in place £12 to stop nite, pay at the machine. But if you eat in the pub you get that reduced from your meal. Loverly and quiet night. Can be busy with visitors through the day but settles in eve. Public toilets close at nite. If we look after the site they will continue to support us.
Lovely spot, flat ground. Public toilets were closed at night. Plenty of bins they had picnic benches also. The staff in the pub were lovely. Would recommend
Parked here during the day (we camped at a free spot further up). Next to High force waterfall and a few other walks, with a small hotel bar and an outdoor cafe. Toilets here too
Car park was awesome. Pub / restaurant looks awesome. We paid the money to see the falls then folllowed the instructions from one kind person on this app below to see the other side of the falls for free which was a longer and quite beautiful walk and got us closer to the falls. Do both walks I would say. But if you prefer saving a little the free walk is defo best
£12 for the night. toilets in the car park, clean. plenty of walks including the free waterfall view from the opposite side of the river.
We came, paid our £12 parking and visited the falls. Leave the car park, cross the road and turn left. Walk 25 metres, take the path on your right and follow the path downstream to the footbridge. Cross the river, turn right and follow the path. You can then visit the waterfall for free.
£12. Helpful hotel staff allowed us to fill up with water from hose around the back. Force now £3.50 and slightly disappointing as you can't get very close. Public toilets closed at night including the disabled one. Very peaceful though.
lovely place £12 per night lovely views. Public toilets but no ehu. Hotel next to carpark but we found it a bit expensive for what u got
fantastic park up. If you are with Brit Stops, it's free parking, just let them know in the hotel, if not its £12 a night The food we had in the hotel was amazing. Staff were attentive, polite and helpful.
