Beautiful free spot by long sandy beach, ideal for walks. Stayed for night, a little traffic but nothing too bad. A peaceful night and as a woman alone felt perfectly safe.
Belle aire de repos avec de la place pour 4-5 camionnettes. Un peu de bruit de la route mais se calme la nuit. Juste à côté de la mer donc idéal pour les promenades.
Nice lay-by with room for 4-5 vans. A bit of road noise but quietens down overnight. Right next to the sea so ideal for walks.
Schöner Rastplatz mit Platz für 4-5 Transporter. Ein bisschen Straßenlärm, aber über Nacht wird es ruhiger. Direkt am Meer gelegen, ideal für Spaziergänge.

kriale8803/11/2025This time of year it was fairly quiet for Camber. I stayed the night and was the only one here. You do rock a little every time a car goes by at speed, and in windy weather it’s a bit of a vortex but it’s free and mostly level with access to a great beach soooo….

Great park up. We stayed here for one night. Vehicles do come past very quick, but after 10pm it is quiet, then about 8 am start to get more cars etc. Literally a minutes walk to the beach. Lovely walk to a few shops/caravan sites. Felt safe here, would return.

Lovely peaceful place to stay overnight. We were the only van here so even better. Road is very dark and there are no streetlights so make sure you have a torch

Parkplatz am schönen sandstrand. Direkt an der strasse Tags viel Verkehr nachts ruhig.

Parking en bord de route très fréquentée. Bon stationnement pour profiter de la mer en journée mais on ne resterait pas la nuit ici. Normalement cet emplacement est réservé aux véhicules de plus de 2m de haut car il y a une barrière de hauteur sur le grand parking à côté mais quand nous sommes passés il n y avait que des voitures stationnées là alors qu’il restait plein de place sur le parking.

An excellent pull in for the night. It is a busy road but very quiet after about 10 o’clock then it gets busier again from around 6am. Right alone the sea front with a mix of sand and pebbled beach. Most importantly to is its dog friendly all year round when on most between May and September dogs are forbidden.
GGVari01/09/2023Great for parking during the day, but the night is quite rough with a bit of trafic noise (a lot of speeding cars & big trucks passing by) *It's very windy (kite surfing area) & cold from the sea, but with spectacular sunrise views & walks on the beach, low tide uncovers 2 shipwrecks *No toilets, nearest are 10 min walk West @ Camber Central Car Park *Bins 2 min East *Burger place 2 min East
