Bruit de la route assez audible, plusieurs arrivées en pleine nuit avec un peu de bruits de portes, sinon on s’est senti en sécurité.
Calf Heath Reservoir avec parking. Juste à côté de la sortie 12 de la M6 (A5). Quelques bruits de circulation.

parkforme5502/09/2025Stopped overnight needing a rest from driving - good location near motorway flat but road approach has a few pot holes woke up to lovely views and a quick dog walk clearly a popular spot for walking dogs and fishing it backs up to the motorway so you can hear traffic but it was good for us

Was very late when we arrived but it was empty. Some noise from the m6 through the night but not enough to keep you awake. Woke up to it being fairly busy at around 7am. (Low hanging branches)

Apparently a dogging spot, unfortunately wasn’t woken up by a hot blonde. M6 is loudish, didn’t interrupt my sleep tho. Lovely reservoir with a walk around it. Two other vans here, arrived quietly at 10:30, no bother! Would definitely stop here again.

Wir haben auf der Rückreise einen unkomplizierten Stellplatz in der Nähe der Autobahn gesucht und gefunden. Sehr wenig Verkehr in der Nacht. Ein paar Autos parken (Angler?). Autobahn ist leicht hörbar. Standen mit einem anderen Campervan. Kostenlos, schattig und perfekt für die Durchreise.
curtisg5330/05/2025Really hand overnight stop off J12 of M6. Slept well, traffic noise not a problem. A few dog walkers and fishermen arrived in the early morning. Lovely walk around the reservoir.

No services (apart from bins). No restrictions. Good dog walk by reservoir and woods (watch out for fishermen).
Cooperinjo24/02/2025Nice place, but as usual it is used as a Dogging place. Its difficult to find one here in the UK where this isnt happening at night.
Garyc9113/08/2024Arrived around midnight to an empty carpark, woke up to the beautiful surroundings. Park considerately. my 7m van fit in fine on a slight diagonal. Another van parked up and they parked sideways taking up most of an area designed for about 5 cars. I'd recommend expecting to be gone by 9ish, as not to annoy the friendly fishermen who start their day early and need the parking.

Perfect stop just off the M6. Pretty angling lake which you can walk round with a dog. A few friendly fishermen happy to explain their craft. Agree with previous comments - best to clear off early.

Great level stopover just off the M6. Arrived super late in the early hours on my way up to Scotland from Dover and it was empty. Woke up to anglers and a lovely walk around the reservoir! The M6 is audible overnight, but not an issue for me (maybe use ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper). Best not to linger during the day to be fair to the locals - keep it discreet as a stopover overnight.

Parfait pour passer une nuit. Un peu de bruit de la M6 mais tranquille. Jolie vue sur le réservoir, en fait une société de pêche, semble t’il assez fréquentée en journée.
