free 6pm to 8am mon-fri, free after 6pm sat and free sun. right next to residential housing though so may not be suitable. I didn't stay as I don't feel comfortable being outside someone's home

Nice spot to get your head down. Unfortunately there seemed to be a rave on in the carpack and som drag racing which went on for a majority of the evening. Once that had stopped it was fine. Close to the city centre around a five minute walk to the steps and then you are there.
