Área tranquila y agradable, ideal para descansar o pernoctar. Gratuita, con electricidad de pago a precio razonable, agua y contenedores para la basura. El grifo de agua está a la izquierda del museo, en el edificio de detrás, casi al final.
Merece la pena visitar el museo, pasear entre las antiguas casas y ver las piedras rúnicas vikingas. Un lugar muy bonito y recomendable.

Good place for both a short stop and an overnight stay. We stayed here in 2024 and have returned this year; it remains an excellent spot. Very quiet at night, with little traffic on the nearby road. Electricity is available for a modest fee. The museum is well worth a visit, and it's also worth walking among the old houses from the 19th and early 20th centuries and seeing the Viking runestones.
Wir konnten hier leider (mal wieder) nicht bezahlen. Wieso gibt es überall Bezahllösungen die nur für Norweger geht? Kann man nicht einfach Paypal nutzen das International deutlich verbreiteter ist.
Herrlich ruhige Nacht verbracht. Museum hatte nur Sonntags offen. Strom kann man nur beziehen wenn man ein Konto in Norwegen hat.
Arrived just before 5, which probably delayed the lovely lady from going home. She was super helpful regarding the electricity. The road is quiet during the night. Toilet and shower facilities are available when the Museum is open. We would also recommend visiting the small but interesting Museum.
Musée fermé pour la saison mais peu importe car nous cherchions de l'eau. Le robinet est le long du bâtiment gauche, nécessite une clé de Berne.

il n'y a pas beaucoup de stationnement sur cette route 44 et ce parking tombe à pic. tout en enrobé avec 4 prises électrique pour 80 noks. tres bien pour une nuit ,il faut caler.
Toller großer Platz. Mit 2 Stromanschlüssen. Kostet 80 NOK für die Nacht. Ohne Strom kostenlos. Abends ist die Straße kaum befahren von daher sehr ruhig.
Geräumiger Parkplatz mit vier Stellplätzen für Womos und Camper. Straße direkt im Hintergrund, diese ist allerdings nachts kaum befahren. Erst in den Morgenstunden beginnt hier der Verkehr, wen das stören sollte. Frischwasser habe ich nicht gefunden, trotzdem ein toller Platz. Vielen Dank dafür.
Sehr schöner ruhiger Stellplatz und kostenloses Museum. Ausreichend Platz. Super das es so etwas gibt !

Good spot for a night. We were alone. If you park with some distance to the street you will hardly hear it and during night traffic here is very low. Very nice walk around through the differen artifacts and ancient stones. Unfortunately the museum opening hours were limited already end of august.
Sehr ruhig an einer interessanten historischen Ausgrabungssteiie gelegen. Gratis, auch das Museum, unbedingt Rundgang machen.

Idilic location, we were the only ones there, recently resurfaced but is at a slight angle so chocks might be needed. Quiet even with the road nearby. No facilities (other than a bin) on-site but the showers at the location up the valley are only about 15 minutes away and are free.
Heerlijke plek. Zicht op het historische park van het museum. zeer vriendelijke personeel dat ons nog snel een rondleiding gaf voor sluiting. in het park kan je na sluiting nog rondwandelen. We rekenden bij hen ook de elektriciteit af, die ze zelf overigens heel duur vonden (80nok) (staan=gratis). Je kan afrekenen met Vipps, wat een noorse payconiq is, wat buitenlanders niet kunnen gebruiken.
Interessante Ausstellung. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter im Museum. Übernachtung mit WoMo kostenlos. Uns wurde angeboten, Wasser zu tanken. Geteerte Stellfläche.
