A cracking rural park-up in the Brecon Beacons. Soft ground under the wheels gave it just enough of an off-road feel, but the reward was worth it. Stunning views stretching for miles, complete peace and quiet, and not another soul in sight. Just us, the van, and a front-row seat to one of the best sunsets South Wales has to offer. Lovely views and mostly quieter than close by road spots however there is a tendency for boy racers to drive by very fast and beep horns whilst passing at 2am. Soft ground in wet conditions so wouldn't advise for larger campers or motorhomes, also lack of suitable turning spots. Used by lots of dog walkers, sadly the usual rubbish left and people allowing dogs off leads around wild horses.

Beautiful overnight stay, very quiet, visited only by sheep. Farmer went by on a quad bike in the evening, no bother. Picked up a few used tea bags and a couple of baby wipes - please, folks - these don't biodegrade but do result in camping bans - bag them up (and your used loo roll) and take away with you.
Super flat spot in a very quiet offroad with nice view. The terrain seems rather soft and with rain an heavy van may have problems. No phone signal.

DONT STAY HERE IF ITS BEEN RAINING. We stayed last year in the summer and it was a stunning view, slightly rocky so harder to drive across with a lowered van. Attempted to stay recently but got ourselves stuck because it was boggy and very wet just off the roadside. A lovely spot to stay in when dry though. Good signal on the Three but poor with Tesco.
Intended to stay here for 1 night but upon entry to this flat grass area at the side of the road, as that is all it is, we found it too pot holed with some large stones imbedded in the ground, yes you can drive over them but not ideal. We opted to return to the larger lay by we passed less than a mile back, which offered a large gravel area with a great views.
Superbe spot plat avec de l'herbe rase, entouré de fougères, avec une vue magnifique. Il est situé sur une route très tranquille. Nuit calme. L'endroit parfait pour passer la nuit et se balader.
