Great for visiting the cove

Wolfsoil02/06/2025Stayed here for 2 nights. The day we got here, and then another night after walking the South Coast path from Lulworth to Weymouth. Seems to be the only place to stay overnight now they've put "no overnight parking" signs up by the church. On a slight slope, and it is pretty noisy during the day, but the traffic dies down at about 930pm and starts back up at about 740am. No frills, just easy.

Kashtaloh14/09/2023Ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden, auch im Schatten. Der Weg zum Strand ist kurz und man kommt an einem kleinen Supermarkt vorbei. Top Parkplatz! Zum Übernachten eher nicht geeignet da sehr schräg.

Fine for overnight. Traffic + noise from 6am onwards. Slight slope. Very open - in front of houses. Castle inn is nice for a quick feed.
alysinw0nderland21/07/2023Excellent way to save money on the extortionate village parking (£20!!) Literally next door to the pub and only a mile walk to Lulworth Cove. Quiet, easy park up for the night too.

Wasn’t level, and was opposite a house. The Castle Inn doesn’t serve food to non-residents (we were hoping for a pub dinner). Didn’t stay.

Ottimo parcheggio per visitare la baia e il paese che si trovano a 10 minuti a piedi. Non abbiamo pernottato ma non ci sono cartelli che lo vietino (pendenza notevole)

Very quiet road, slept soundly with no interruptions and left the van throughout the next day for 12 hours with no issue
