Sweet small campsite set at the protected grassy field behind the sand dune. €20 for full service - dump, water, electric & shower - is a great deal especially considering the beach location! For the showers go to the “Away team” locker room on the left and lock the door - that’s what they told us at the community center. :) Thank you Maghery!

Ein schöner kleiner Campingplatz mit warmen Duschen und einem sehr schönen Strand! Wir blieben eine Nacht und das war sehr nett!

Wonderful spot with beach. dunes pub etc within a minutes walk. Wish there were more community initiatives like this, it is so much nicer than regimented and overpriced caravan parks. €20 with ehu if wanted, showers etc included and they provided me with a leaflet on local walks.

Great value and a great community, so welcoming. Sheltered parking area with sand dunes separating you from a gorgeous beach. Locals were very helpful and even pointed out a number of landmarks to visit. The pub across the road was a wee gem, great pint and very friendly locals. For 20 euro was great value, no place for rubbish. Play park at the community centre with outdoor gym.

Great place to support the local community. Greta value for £20 a night, and right by a beautiful, swimmable beach that dogs will also love. The showers are in the changing rooms. Please support these guys for creating affordable places for campers to go. Also side note, we did a kayaking tour with Marghery Coastal Adventures and had a great time, definitely do it if you can!

C'est plus une aire camping car qu'un camping. Affiche complet alors qu'il ne l'est pas. Aucune instruction sur le community center à contacter. Vidange WC à l'extérieur, pas de vidange eaux usées, pas d'évier pour laver la vaisselle. Les douches sont collectives, prévues pour l'équipe de foot invitée ! Toilettes publiques propres.

Même si le camping était plein, nous avons pu prendre une super douche illimitée (en proposant 5 euros ) dans les vestiaires attenant au community center.

Seems lovely but was booked up during summer holidays - book by phoning the community centre . Lovely lady there was welcoming and polite . I'll come back!

Loved our night here - arrived at 7pm on a rainy Friday eve, the night before the Maghery Community Festival. Pub was packed with families and SO welcoming, great food available at a van in pub car park (maybe only for the festival weekend?). Camping is run by and for the community and really well taken care of and a great initiative. Great toilet and shower facilities.

Endroit très agréable pour se pauser et s’endormir avec le bruit des vagues. Belle balade à pied à faire. Pub sympathique où vous pouvez payer votre nuitée si personne ne vient vous voir.

Good spot for overnight parking and refill everything.

This was a very nice spot. Really friendly people! The manager was already gone when we arrived so we left the money with the owner of the pub. We felt really welcome here. Quiet place with ocean sounds in the background. Toilets and showers all clean and available all evening/night.

I have to say Iv never felt more at home than I did here. Super friendly locals, great pub and beach so close you could fall out of your camper and hit the sand. Great to support a community run site. Don’t leave without paying. Have a few pints, pay at the bar or wait till someone collects. I will be back!
