Nous sommes situés sur Thick Withins Farm dans la région de White Peak du Peak District (aux frontières du Derbyshire, du Staffordshire et du Cheshire, SK17 0TD). Nous proposons cinq emplacements en dur pour les camping-cars dans la cour de la ferme et sur le chemin privé avec eau et évacuation des déchets. Chiens bienvenus. Cet endroit est près du village de Flash et est très isolé, accidenté et paisible, à l'exception de la prévalence de cerfs sauvages, de vaches, de courlis, de vanneaux, de renards, de blaireaux, de buses et d'effraies des clochers. Hello everyone, just a message to say our CAMpRA Accredited Aire is now open and we'd love to see some more vans on the site. We're located on Thick Withins Farm in the White Peak region of the Peak District (on the Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire borders, SK17 0TD). We offer five hardstanding spots for campervans on the farmyard and on the private drive with water and waste disposal. Dogs welcome. This location is near Flash village and is very remote, rugged and peaceful except for the prevalence of wild deer, cows, curlews, lapwing, foxes, badgers, buzzards and barn owls. Booking (on the day or further in advance) required via phone call, text, WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, or email. Payment via cash, PayPal or bank transfer. The farm is within striking distance of Flash, Hollinsclough, Longnor, Hartington, Bakewell, Leek and Buxton with lots of countryside walks around the Derbyshire Dales and Staffordshire Moorlands including the famous Roaches and Ramshaw Rocks and Dovedale.
We've got water and waste disposal and also an Indian firepit to rent with innumerable tubs of logs for sale, for use on the drive's hardstanding pads.

This site is fantastic for touring around this beautiful part of the country; the pitches are well spaced out with amazing views, and the host is very helpful; thank you for a lovely stay
marie1234506/08/2024What a fantastic place this is, so peaceful and quiet. We had our own gated pitch and field which was brilliant for our 2 dogs on our 5 night stay. Communication from James the owner was really good. This place is very relaxed, campfires are allowed. Brilliant location for walkers and cyclists.

What a beautiful place. Butterflies in the meadows, pheasants, hares, buzzards overhead. Owner very helpful giving great directions. Great to open camper back doors and look out. £15 per night, able to fill water, empty toilet, and recycle rubbish. Thank you for sharing your land with us.

What a fantastic place! The views are amazing and I’ve never seen/heard more bird species just sitting in one place! There are plenty of footpaths so great for walking but equally good for just relaxing. Communication was excellent, with very detailed directions which you should definitely follow as this is a hilly rural area and you don’t want to end up on the wrong road! Thoroughly recommended.

I had a lovely night here under the stars, 10/10 for location. This site is very unique in that the pitches are spaced far apart which is great if you want peace and quiet. Booking/check-in very straightforward and bonus that fire-pits are available to use, £5 for a large bucket of wood. Will definitely be visiting again!

Amazing find. Very attractive place, you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. We got told you can see wild deer, cows, curlews, pheasants, lapwing, foxes, badgers, buzzards and barn owls too, we only stayed one night for £15 and saw hares and heard the owl. We paid £5 for some logs and were given a decent bucket full. James was also so kind to come and top the fire up free of charge.
stevebee01/04/2024Stayed for 2 nights, £15 per night. Hired a fire pit and logs were supplied at £5 per tub. Fired up the fire pit and cooked pizza’s until the stars came out…Fantastic stop over. We parked our 8.5m Moho with no issues. James was soooo helpful with directions to the farm. Offered Grey and Black drop and fresh water at the farm if needed. With definitely be back for the awesome views…

fantastic night stay in our 7.3 meter motorhome same as all other comments stunning views now £15 a night well worth a stop send him a text on WhatsApp an he will send you loads of information on how to get there will definitely be back look him up on face book for loads of information

Excellent site with outstanding views of the valley and surrounding hills, so peaceful and quiet especially during the night time which is always a bonus. We called James as a last minute booking and he was so accommodating and managed to find a place to park, sent us accurate directions and communication was first class, parking is spread out and would highly recommend. Definitely revisiting.

Idyllic setting with enjoyable countryside views of rolling hills. Really easy to book with timely responses from farmers who were all very friendly and approachable. Will definitely visit again!

swampduck15/07/2023Stayed for 2 nights July 2023. Fabulous wild Aire type spot spot on farm track. Ideal off grid - fresh water available at farm if needed. We made contact with James (owner) who directed us where to park up and how to pay. (It was £12/night). Peaceful and quiet with panoramic views over hilly farmland. We will definitely call again when in the area.

James was super helpful sending us pictures of the correct turn off from the A53, where the parking areas were located. James and his mother were really helpful and friendly and we made use of all the facilities All in all a superb aire with spectacular views, plenty of birdsong and a really peaceful night. Highly recommended.

Excellent new site. single hardcore pitches laid in the rough field meant we could listen to the curlews all around us. On our pitch there was not much room for sitting out, just enough for the two of us to enjoy an evening drink in the setting sun and to sit out for breakfast. beautiful views. we would definitely return for one night stop overs.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Nacht. James ist sehr hilfsbereit und kümmert sich hervorragend um seine Gäste. Die Stellplätze sind weit auseinander und unserer war absolut gerade. Am Abend hat uns James für 5£ mit einer Feuerschale und genügend Holz ausgestattet, so dass wir lange und gemütlich draußen sitzen konnten. Absolut zu empfehlen! Perfekt für alle, die das Gefühl vom Freistehen lieben.

Messaged James in the morning and he got back to us within a few minutes. New venture with plans to improve & increase space. We’re on hard standing on driveway into the farm. It’s currently a bit of a slope and we need chocks, but James is getting the digger man back to level it out more. Yard is more level and has wifi. Prefer the silence and the curlews calling. Lovely spot. Def recommend.
