I live in Kirkby Stephen, so it may seem odd that I'd pay to spend nights on my doorstep, but it's like a different world. My friend has a camper too, and we often meet up there. We love to watch the often spectacular sunsets. It is dog friendly (but always on a lead or in a playpen!) it is a working farm with free roaming animals, so remember to be considerate of that.

Basic site with friendly owner. Black waste point and fresh water. 2 hard standing pitches and plenty of grass parking. All pitches same price £10. £15 with electric. Lovely remote location.

zas best as you are going to find in a farmer's field. Right on the banks of a pretty little river with possible otters and kingfishers. Sheep in the field. Portaloo if needed. 8 mins off the A66 near Brough. very pleased to have found it.

Lovely friendly farmer met us. phoned ahead and left a message but he said phone wasn’t working. EHU on the right hand side before entering the static caravan area. Plenty of space and so quiet, only one space on gravel the rest on large grass area.. Short walk into Kirkby Stephen. Would definitely recommend. Prices correct. Bin on entry, no toilet or facilities.

Farmer Peter friendly and helpful. No toilets but quiet and peaceful. Mixed animal farm with a dozen static caravans by the river and hard/grass pitch for campers etc. I must remember this place next time I go to the Appleby Horse Fair. A bargain at £10 + £5 for elec.

Lovely place to stay. Lots of animals. Friendly Donkeys, sheep and lambs. Paid farmer on arrival £10 for pitch and £5 for electric. He was happy for us to be hardstanding due to wet weather. Unfortunately after a stupid mistake, we got stuck on the grass anyway but he was happy to help pull us out. Very peaceful night and stunning location.

Excellent stop over. We stayed for one night. Very tidy with hard standing for MH. Electric available. Very quiet apart for cockerel early morning. Lambs being born and farmer keen to show us. will definitely be back

Found this place through the app. Just off the main road in Kirkby Stephen, don’t follow the postcode all the way as it’s about half way down that road on the left. We drove up to the farm house and calle - nice farmer came out and told us to take any free pitch. Took £8 cash there and told us to let him know if we needed anything. Really nice quiet site next to sheep field. No bother all night, managed to hook up to electric and fill our water tank (hose is clearly for bigger vans/statics but we managed with our hose attachment. Excellent little find.
