It’s not a bad place to stay if you’re gunna do the hike as you can have a shower and do washing but it’s just a big car park. Lots of other people abusing the facilities that we noticed like washing their dirty clothes in the hand washing sink!! If you don’t respect the facilities they will just put prices up or remove places like this completely! Also so many wasps around we could open our doors
Large free parking place with street light. Very quiet night (no trains - may depend on season). Services require the Penny app and a tag.
If you want a quiet night night, don‘t sleep here. Trains passing all night and lights everywhere.
Parking Kiwi Camp gratuit très agréable ! Les toilettes sont propres, coin dechets et recyclage. Dumping station dispo aussi. On peut acheter le Kiwi badge dans les commerces à côté pour utiliser la douche et les machines à laver / sèche linge. Super pratique pour aller faire la rando du Tongariro avec les bus Tongariro Crossing.
