Distinctly average for £15 per night but we did have a good night's sleep. flat yet muddy. Buy parking ticket from Kielder castle car park- note this park is part of forestry commission. People arriving at 2am from the observatory session up the road
£15 a night, peaceful spot with a 5G signal. Pay at the machine ( cash only ) or visit reception at waterside or up at kielder castle to buy your ticket for the night.
Nice quiet parkup overnight, reasonably prices at £12 and toilets open 24 hours and clean. Nice pub nearby though no food on Monday and Tuesday.
Secluded, no view, the peace and quiet can be interrupted by astronomers visiting the observatory quite late. £10
Nice place to stop and have a peaceful night. 21:00 to 09:00 £12. Fairly level.
Good spot, really enjoyed on a clear night! Was quite noisy until about 12am, think cars were coming up thinking they could get up to observatory but then used car park to turn around. No phone signal.
