The exit ramp is steep and cobbles which makes it slippery even in the dry. In a 4500kg motorhome we had wheelspin. The only way to get out was to stop the traffic and take a run up.

Big public free flat P aside Tâmega river, with some shadows. Best P to visit Amarante historic city center (UNESCO criative city, where is difficult to park) that is less 10 min flat walking (tourist office on the way) with restaurants and very nice pastries. Short stone paved sloping ramp to went out is not problem. Surrounded by two busy roads but quiet by night. Trash cans in the parking lot.
Großer kostenloser Parkplatz mit Stellplätzen entlang des Flusses Tâmega. Umgeben von zwei stark befahrenen Straßen, aber ab Mitternacht ruhiger. Für eine Nacht in Ordnung. Mülleimer auf dem Parkplatz.

RosaPatricio17/12/2023Pernoitamos 1 noite neste parque na nossa AC.O local é seguro, com algumas sombras, nivelado mas não tem serviços e não tem muitos estacionamentos para AC a partir dos 7m.Ideal para pernoitar uma noite porque Amarante tem muitos outros parques que podem ser explorados e possivelmente com melhores condições.Vale a pena visitar Amarante que é linda, com um excelente gastronomia e vinho.

Very good place to visit the town (market Weds and Saturday) but VERY steep entrance. Not great in our 8m moho

nous étions hier soir , c'est parfait . je recommande grande place sur le parking avec la rivière petites cascades au top . la pente est raide pour l'entrée -sortie du parking mais cela se fait tres bien ( nous avons un 7m40) . je mets la note de 4 car de services à Amarante donc prenez vos dispo avant .

Awesome spot! Near to a river perfect for a swim. Beautiful tiny waterfalls. Very friendly locals. Just saw the sun go down. We love it here! Life is beautiful!

Wir sind hier nicht hingefahren, die Einfahrt war so steil, dass wir Angst hatten nicht mehr raus zu kommen. Die Gegend ist generell gar nichts für uns! Viel zu schnell, laut, groß, stressig.
