parked there nice in quiet out of blue some dam head's come up staring blued with words and flashing they're car light and bip the horns many times
A défaut de ne rien trouver pour dormir, parking sur la route en direction de Dublin.
On entend pas trop la circulation et la nuit a été bonne.

Failing to do find anything to sleep, parking on the road to Dublin. not too means traffic and the night was good. (Troubleshooting only, the parking is not secure from the road).
Nichts zum Schlafen finden, Parken auf der Straße in Richtung Dublin. Wir hören nicht zu viel Verkehr und die Nacht war gut. (Nur Fehlersuche, der Parkplatz ist nicht von der Straße gesichert).

Fearless2505/05/2025Filthy layby in every respect. Litter everywhere. We had parked up just a matter of minutes before being surrounded by cars with their lights on. One very bold character even came and knocked the door. NOT recommended for an overnight unless you're into dogging. Beautiful spot totally spoiled by the goings on. We swiftly moved on after our meal.
TheOnlyTyger16/11/2024Beautiful view out over the Lough. I spent a very quiet night here, no nuisance in the evening, no dog walkers early in the morning. Although the main road is nearby the sound is muffled and it’s very quiet overnight. It would get 5 stars except there are no completely level spaces, but there is room for two or three Motorhomes on an almost level section. I Felt safe and it’s quite clean and tidy.

Nice lay-by. Very long and well.off the road, so traffic noise from the busy road is just a hum. Lovely tree lined lake views. The country store at the end is amazing. We have spent some very restful nights in this spot, and we highly recommend it
Hamlin27/09/2020Lorries often stop for a break here, also walkers and fishing. Beside the lake with steps down to a short walk beside the water. should be safe and quiet. Lakeland stores does gas cylinders and refills and other supplies.
