Perfect stop over for the night. super friendly staff, dog friendly. Lovely walk around the area for the dogs to stretch their legs. Quiet spot. Plenty of space for our 7.9 motorhome. Just perfect.
Pickering Arms Thelwall. Emplacement au fond du parking pour environ 3 petits camping-cars et camping-cars. Peut être occupé le week-end. Vous pouvez rester gratuitement si vous entrez pour quelques verres ou un repas. Pub vraiment sympathique, chien amical et la nourriture est délicieuse. Près du sentier Trans Pennine et du canal Bridgewater. Un joyau caché.
Pickering Arms Thelwall. Space at the back of the car park for about 3 small motor homes and camper vans. Can get busy at weekends. You can stay for free if you go in for a couple of drinks or a meal. Really friendly pub, dog friendly and the food’s lovely. Close to the Trans Pennine trail and The Bridgewater canal. A hidden gem.

Sie können kostenlos bleiben, wenn Sie ein paar Drinks oder eine Mahlzeit zu sich nehmen. Wirklich freundlicher Pub, hundefreundlich und das Essen ist herrlich. In der Nähe des Trans Pennine Trail und des Bridgewater-Kanals. Ein verstecktes Juwel.

ootgalavanting09/08/2024Brilliant. Stayed here for 1 night. It’s great that this local pub allows this in their large car park. Had a few pints in their beer garden and chatted with staff, lovely people. The village itself is very quaint with a great dog walk along the canal nearby!
Iancouch01/08/2024What a gem of a place. Stayed here for one night in our motorhome parking to the rear of the car park. The landlady is lovely making us feel very welcome and we enjoyed a drink or two in the beautiful garden area. Sadly we were too late for food but next time we'll arrive earlier. It was quiet and peaceful and one of the best Park4night we've found

Stayed here just before Christmas, very warm welcome, dog friendly, excellent food. We have a 7.3m moho and parked up easily in the rear carpark. Can highly recomend.

Fantastic place with friendly staff. Stayed for one night on the way to rugby, parked in the back car park away from the road and had a very quiet night. Ate in the pub and the food was excellent. Will stay here again but well worth calling in for lunch or dinner if passing.

what a delightful spot! incredibly hospitable. great food and beer and ambiance and friendly folk! spent a peaceful night in the car park after a good meal in the pub. A+ !
vanallife28/07/2023Lovely spot with a flat space. Quaint pub and welcoming staff. Nice and quiet place to stay overnight. As long as you ask permission and use the pub for drinks or food.
RollingHorizons08/07/2023Arrived here at 11pm and just managed to get a few drinks in before they closed. Beautiful little park up - tight but managed to squeeze our 7m Moho in. Amazing pub, good food and a nice field to walk the dog. Mobile signal for the digimads: EE 2 bar; O2 2 bar

allowed us to stay for 2 nights for a local music festival. Food in the pubs is very good and the Sunday lunch excellent. good sized flat carpark. 4 other motorhomes on whilst we were there.

New owners great hospitality very friendly pointed out great walks for the dog free stop if you spend money in the pub great food just off junction 20 of the M6 very quiet at night

Lovely olde world pub in centre of older part of village. Quiet nights sleep. Landlords, Helen & Mike very welcoming. Great selection of beers, & extensive bar meals menu. Thoroughly recommend!

We stayed overnight here on Christmas Eve. The pub was lovely, reasonably priced and the staff/owner we're very welcoming. The pub is very dog friendly. We had a very good night's sleep in the car park as there was no road noise at all!

Fantastic pub, 110% dog friendly, wonderful staff, great food & friendly patrons. Stopped here as we had our dogs and could be more happy. Very quiet area.

Parked here overnight on our way to the Lincoln show. The owners Jackie and Dom were really pleasant. Had a couple of drinks with them. Very quiet location and plenty of space. Marked as favourite.

Lovely park up, we stayed for 1 night in our van, big parking lot. We went in for a drink, lovely food and drinks. We told the barman about staying over night and he was really lovely. Pub opens at 12pm, closes at 12am I think. Great sleep, flat and free Wi-Fi
