Lovely spot. £33 so not cheap but had all we needed. No one else was here. Nice walks nearby. Dog friendly

Perfekte Lage und Parkmöglichkeiten. Zugang zu Strom/WC mit Dusche! Sehr empfehlenswert! Es befindet sich auf dem Gelände von Paxton House, ein Besuch ist sehr zu empfehlen!

camper213414/09/2025Total überteuert. Nur 1 Toilette in Funktion. Dusche total verdreckt. Keine Abwaschmöglichkeit. Das ganze für 32.- Wirklich unverschämt. Wir sind nur hier gelandet weil alle anderen richtigen Campingplätze ausgebucht waren.

We stopped here on 16/6/25 booked online before arriving fairly expensive! We didn’t check in just pulled in the walled garden and picked a spot was fairly quiet. No code needed for facilities or EHU. Downside was that there are only 2 toilets/showers for the full site. Both are clean and accessible for all but could do with a few more or showers separate from toilets.

What a ridiculous price. The camping industry is being preyed upon by the greedy. Anything over £30 a night is FAR FAR TOO EXPENSIVE! Camping is supposed to be a cheap and cheerful way of getting away. Stop inflating the prices!!! We stayed in a 5 star campsite at Haltwhistle this week at £26 a night. Top end of our budget but a justified price. Heated floor showers / saunas, and a proper small and friendly site. If these prices keep going up, the place to go will be premier inns.

Waren auf der Durchreise und Toilette bzw. Grauwasser entleert sowie Trinkwasser aufgefüllt. Hat alles funktioniert und war sauber.

Sehr schön angelegter Wohnmobil-/ Caravanstellplatz. Sehr große Stellplätze mit Strom, auf Schotter und mit Rasen an jeder Seite. Wir haben dafür mit 2 Personen 30 £ bezahlt. 2 Große Bäder mit Dusche und Toilette. Gute Ver-/ Entsorgung. Berwick-upon-Tweed mit dem Bus, mehrmals am Tag, gut zu erreichen. Abfahrt direkt vor der Rezeption (200 Meter hinter dem Stellplatz).
Silverselection27/05/2024Wunderbarer Platz im Park des Paxton-Hauses. Schöne Parzellen. Anmeldung im Eingang des Hauses. Wir haben 25 £ bezahlt für Womo und 2 Personen, alles inklusive. 2 Toiletten mit integrierter Dusche waren ok, wenn man nicht morgens in der Rushhour duschen muss.
vanlifebert21/02/2024Good spot for services such as emptying and topping up water. £30 on pitch up which is quite steep considering there are about 30 pitches and only 2 disabled toilets and showers for the whole site. Fine in the winter season but would be very busy in summer. No where to check in as it was closed so picked a spot at random. Lovely walks from the site is a plus!
Honcho4121/02/2024Lovely spot. They say to check-in before 1700. We arrived at about 1645 and everything was closed in the House so we couldn’t check-in with anybody. So we picked our own pitch and hoped there was no code needed for the toilets or activation required for the EHU. Luckily there wasn’t. £30/night is a bit tasty though.

On est passé demander si on pouvait juste remplir nos cuves et vider nos eaux grises mais uniquement possible si on reste une nuit (30£), sinon magnifique endroit.

très belle aire de camping dans le parc de la Maison Paxton. Nuit très calme. nous n'avions pas réservé mais il y avait de la place. Services pour camping car pratiques et propres Rapport qualité prix très correct .

Locatie prima. Faciliteiten minder 1 doucheruimte in gebruik voor zo’n 15 campers/caravans. In doucheruimte ook 1 toilet, deze ruimte werd ook door gasten gebruikt voor hun afwas. De andere doucheruimte was buiten gebruik. Geen WiFi.

Lovely site in walled garden, half full when we were there. 2 toilets/showers, clean but probably not enough if site was full. Great to be able to access the grounds of Paxton House - nice cafe there. We cycled into Berwick - sustrans route 1, about 12k, some bits were a bit busy.

Kostet aktuell 25 Pfund die Nacht, eigentlich Toller Platz, mit schöner Umgebung. Aber mehrere Steckdosen sind defekt, Toiletten Entsorgung verstopft und 3 kombinierte Toiletten/Duschen sind für so viele Menschen einfach zu wenig.

Lovely small and quiet site - it’s not free though and is currently £25 per night. Still good value as it’s got a brand new shower and toilet block and chemical waste disposal as well as electric hook ups etc.
