Golf car park within tilgate park. There is a restaurant and an animal park within Tilgate Park. You will come to a paid car park first but continue along the road into the golf course where it is free. Ideally for smaller campers due to height restriction barriers, although non restricted spaces again a little bit along.

Parked here for a few hours while we visited the excellent park. Noticed a shabby sign saying parking for golf club members only. This was on way back to motorhome so we had already parked up, all be it well out of the way of the club house. Narrow approach road and parking is on gravel but solid enough. Only place we could find to park a 2.8m high van.
Great place lovely lake and good for a picnic annoying you can't stay overnight but still worth a visit
No overnight parking allowed. we got moved on by the golf club management
