On turn to 165 from Catwick on B1035. old bit of road that was left after straightening. Good enough for a overnight if no where else.

Pulled in and had some tea and had planned on staying. At around 6pm (still very light) I was aware that a few cars had pulled in and parked together - men proceeded to exit their cars and go into the wooded area. Don’t feel safe so going to moved on. Such a shame as this is a really great place as far as lay-bys go….
Bestimmt super für einen kurzen stop oder eine schnelle Nacht, bei uns war er allerdings komplett voll mit LKW‘s und Bauarbeitern die Pause gemacht haben.
Not a good spot to stay, we tried to stay but lots of guys in cars cruising around and also cross dresser too, they were in and out of the woods up to no good it seems, felt insecure about this and moved on.
This is a lay-by! Set back from road with small wooded area. Road surface rough. Traffic noise minimal. Vodafone / EE excellent signal. Busy during daytime. This is a gay dogging area - having sat here and watched the goings on. Don't be put off, there is clearly just one spot where they subtly meet and disappear into the small wooded section, no one approaches vehicles parked
Stayed here overnight. Little road noise. It’s set back from the road so safe enough Shared with another van and all ok. Quite long so space for a few vans
Stayed here for 1 night with family in 2 other vans on way to Whitby. Nice big pull-in, trees for shelter from road, bins to use. 2 more caravans also. Quiet night sleep
