This is a very good place. Close to shops and the park, close enough to comfortably walk to the old town, not too crowded, I came back several times and always found a spot. The bridge on one side has a 6'6" width limit but I saw big vans pass without issues. Maybe not most suitable for motorhomes.
You'll park under some trees on some unmarked parking, but decent location

Really good stop with loads of free road for parking. Relatively flat quiet and private. chippy and a pub 10min walk and 30min into Old Town.
watch out there's a width restriction at the bottom of this road with no turning back space
