Quite a narrow lane to get there - worth it. Primitive facilities, but fine for a farmer’s field. Had a swim in the Dart. Friendly farmer who chugs up in the morning in his tractor for the tenner.

Entrez et garez-vous où vous le souhaitez sur le terrain, l'entrée est ouverte 24 heures sur 24. Il est préférable de se garer de chaque côté de la route de gravier dur qui traverse le champ pendant les mois d'hiver, car l'herbe peut devenir assez humide et boueuse, ce qui rend la conduite difficile.
Si vous pouvez contacter John avant votre arrivée à la ferme, il pourra vous conseiller sur le stationnement (il mettra parfois son bétail sur le terrain)
John habite dans la ferme à droite de l'entrée du champ, vous pouvez lui donner un coup et payer à votre arrivée sur le site ou
John récupérera l'argent le matin

Drive in and park where you like on the field, entrance is open 24 hours. It is better to park either side of the hard gravel road running through the field during the winter months as the grass can become quite wet & muddy, making it difficult to drive on.
If you can contact John prior to arrival on the farm, he can advise on parking (sometimes he will put his live stock on the field)
John lives in the farm house to the right of the entrance of the field, can give him a knock & pay on arrival to the site or
John will collect money in the morning

Entra y aparca donde quieras en el campo, la entrada está abierta las 24 horas. Es mejor aparcar a ambos lados del duro camino de grava que atraviesa el campo durante los meses de invierno, ya que el césped puede mojarse y embarrarse bastante, lo que dificulta la conducción.
Si puedes ponerte en contacto con John antes de llegar a la granja, te puede aconsejar sobre el aparcamiento (a veces deja su ganado en el campo)
John vive en la casa de la granja a la derecha de la entrada del campo, puedes llamar a la puerta y pagar al llegar al sitio o
John cobrará el dinero por la mañana

Rijd naar binnen en parkeer waar u wilt op het veld, de ingang is 24 uur per dag geopend. Het is beter om aan beide kanten van de harde grindweg te parkeren die door het veld loopt tijdens de wintermaanden, omdat het gras behoorlijk nat en modderig kan worden, waardoor het moeilijk wordt om erop te rijden.
Als u contact kunt opnemen met John voordat u op de boerderij aankomt, kan hij u adviseren over parkeren (soms zet hij zijn vee op het veld)
John woont in het boerderijhuis rechts van de ingang van het veld, u kunt bij aankomst op de locatie bij hem aankloppen en betalen of

Maximilian11212/07/2025Großes Feld zum Parken, kamen sehr spät an und haben trotzdem noch einen Platz gefunden. Aber alles sehr schief, man findet aber auch ebene Stellen. Der Weg dorthin ist sehr abenteuerlich. Es gibt 2 Toiletten, 1 Dusche, 1 Waschbecken, zur Rush Hour auf jeden Fall zu wenig. Alles sauber und gepflegt und sehr ruhig! Haben morgens das Geld zum Haus gelegt, weil wir früher los mussten.

Stayed here while I was working away & came back for a total of 3 nights in then end, felt very welcomed by farmer John & his family. Very quiet and peaceful location. One of few rustic & charming farm sites in the area for a very reasonable price for £10 pp per night. Lovely to see the South West Railway Steam train pass by! Will definitely be back I'm the summer months to explore the river walk

Worth the money, £9 pppn, ran by a friendly, welcoming old mate named John. Facilities are well maintained, toilets available and £1 shower for 8 minutes. There is also access to fresh spring water, we filled our container and it tastes incredible! Bit wet at the moment so is not letting anyone set up tents and doesn’t want many people off the main road through the field due to boggy conditions.

Found through Park4nites App. Turned up without a booking and was lucky enough there were space for my MH. Great spot, quite, relaxed, surrounded by active nature. sound and use of the river Dart, scenic walks and town amenities close by. £9pppn £1 shower, fresh spring water on tap, recycling and refuge disposal.

Fantastic rustic and quiet campsite with access to river dart for swimming. Showers, toilets, washing up area and spring water tap in the barn. Owner John is very friendly but doesn’t tolerate noise or fools. Been going here for 20 years. A relaxing campsite.
