Suitable for a quick overnight stay. The facilities are basic, and shower doors didn't lock, no window and no shower screen to keep your clothes from getting wet. It's a bit quirky with a fair set up and old trailer homes about, but that's not a problem. Rubbish disposal in an open skip bin so smelt a bit. If you arrive on a quiet day, plenty of space to park.
Great value site, friendly helpful staff good facilities , large pitches. The bar was closed when we stayed but it didn't affect our stay nice and quiet altogether nothing to fault.
very friendly member who welcomed us and allowed us to use the services for £5 before heading off to another off grid site. very muddy site, so the floor in the showers are covered in dry/wet mud. I would use this site again if in the area.
Prix imbattable: 32₤ pour 2 nuits en van début août pour 2 personnes sans électricité. Accueil minimal mais sympathique, pas de vrai bureau. Une petite fête foraine est installée pour le week-end, un peu de bruit en fin d'après midi mais soirée assez tranquille. Les sanitaires sont fonctionnels mais mériteraient d'être modernisés. Nous n'avons pas trouvé la laverie...C'est correct pour le prix
Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen Empfang. Die Gastgeberin sowie die Mitarbeiterin im Pub sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Platz auf der großen Wiese haben wir ohne Voranmeldung erhalten. Duschen sind ok, Wassertemperatur schwankt, aber ging! Wir schauen gern auf der Rückreise nochmals vorbei!
24.05.24 We‘ve booked online worked out fine, but the campsite looks not as nice as on the pictures. Additionally the facilities were really dirty.Too less or no hooks for stuff in „bathrooms“ available. Our pitch was very close to the toilets and in the morning it smelled pretty bad. Felt uncomfortable. No WiFi. Campsite was loud and some of the dogs were just running around. Will not come back.
we stayed here for a bought or built van meeting. Lovely place. Staff are great and the toilets are clean. This was our first, visit but will definitely return. Good phone signal also.
The best you can find for the price, in this area. Lovely stay, nice & quiet, good facilities that were well kept. Restricted vehicle movements overnight & dogs must stay on leads. Would stay again!
fantastic site, all the facilities you could possibly need, great hosts, best of both worlds peaceful or a sing song around a campfire. pizzas n burgers available in a well stocked bar.
Great campsite for motorhomes, camper and, etc. Level, hard and grass standing. All facilities available. Clubhouse during summer and weekends in winter. Excellent hosts
I really like it here. It's quiet and half a mile away from any road. Level hardstanding or grass pitches. hook up if you need that. nice and safe for kids, but bring entertainment for yours.
Stayed for one night over the weekend nice little clubhouse food available local ale on tap really quiet nights sleep will go again.
