Parking de la Commission des forêts, surface gravillonnée, relativement plate. Endroit très calme et paisible. Apprécié des promeneurs de chiens. Nombreuses places de stationnement. La Commission des forêts exige que vous emportiez vos déchets, il n'y a donc pas de poubelles. Belles promenades dans les bois.
Forestry Commission car park, stoned surface, fairly flat. Very quiet, peaceful location. Popular with dog walkers. Lots of room to park. FC policy to take your rubbish home, so no bins. Lovely walks around the wood.
Parkplatz der Forstverwaltung, geschottert, relativ eben. Sehr ruhige, friedliche Lage. Beliebt bei Hundebesitzern. Viel Platz zum Parken. Die Forstverwaltung bittet darum, den Müll wieder mitzunehmen, daher gibt es keine Mülleimer. Schöne Spazierwege rund um den Wald.
Aparcamiento de la Comisión Forestal, superficie empedrada, bastante llano. Ubicación muy tranquila y apacible. Popular entre quienes pasean a sus perros. Amplio espacio para aparcar. La política de la Comisión Forestal es llevarse la basura a casa, por lo que no hay papeleras. Preciosos paseos por el bosque.

Large wooded area, ideal for daytime walking in Ostler's Plantation. Was quite busy when we visited. Small, flimsy sign erected near entrance stating no overnight camping. Shame as it would have been ideal.

Stayed here last night and woke up in the morning to someone putting up no camping signs (including motorhomes) as we were leaving. Sad as it was a very peaceful stay and there's plenty of rooms for the locals to park too. We put ourselves in a quiet corner, first night stayed and of course left no mess so may have had trouble previously.
GranducaN49CSL28/08/2022excellent place to stop over. nice and quiet on the evenings. plenty of comings and goings during the day with dog walkers and bike riders. loads of lovely walks in the forests with lots of varied wildlife. room for large motorhomes with easy access. downside is the amount of litter and poo bags left. we filled a black bag and took it away. there had been a festival recently so maybe left overs.
