Quiet night. Come early to get a view of the beach. Free Elsan point. Thank you, Praa.

  • 5/5

Visited yesterday just for the day - great size car park for a trip to the beach! Very quiet on the day we visited so plenty of space! Chemical disposal available too! Pay at the machine for parking, beach is beautiful! dogs allowed on the beach in September! Would 10/10 recommend for day or night!

  • 5/5

Great parking. Greeted by owner who asked if we were staying for the day or the night. We only stayed for the day. Pay and display including for the night - all so reasonable, we paid £4 for the day. Beautiful views and sunset. Chemical waste disposal and water fill up available (£1 for water / £3 for motorhome tank). Would definitely stay again

  • 4/5

Lovely place to spend the night undisturbed

  • 4/5

Public toilets are closed right now and the beach is not accessible for dogs between 10am and 6pm. Apart from that, this spot is great - less than 5 minutes to the beach and plenty of space.

  • 5/5

We absolutely loved this spot! The parking can get busy when the sea conditions are good for swimmers or surfers, but with a bit of luck and patience, you can get one of the prime spots overlooking the beach. £12 for 24 hours was well worth it for the location, right on the South West Coast Path! We ended up staying for 3 nights and would happily return.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great stay for £12 24hr parking on the beach front, Chemical waste disposal area by building behind pay station, Toilet/shower by beach. Can’t fault it.

  • 5/5

Just spent a night here this weekend. Arrived around 2pm and just got in, by 7pm is was nearly empty and we were able to move to a front row space. The car park attendant was really helpful, waste disposal provided too. The Welloe and Stones Reef both do lovely food and drinks. This is a great spot. Unfortunately the public toilets are closed and are unlikely to reopen due to council cuts.

  • 5/5

stunning spot. we stayed for 2 night last weekend (may bank Holiday) arrived around 7pm on the Friday and plenty of spaces. literally steps away from the beach. lovely little bar/pub and public toilets right by. will definitely be back

  • 5/5

one of my favorite spots to stay overnight so far. I suppose in summer it‘s almost not possible to park there, but in the middle of march it was almost empty, only two other vans staying overnight. you have to be independent, as the toilets were closed. but the litter bins were a nice treat.

  • 5/5

We love this spot, you feel really safe and the beach is amazing. £12 for 24 hours parking but you can stay for more than 24 hours if you wanted. The Welloe is a really nice bar with great food. We stayed in february so it wasn’t too busy but i can imagine it gets very busy so be mindful of the local people. There are general waste bins and we did see a sign for water and emptying waste at this car park but it wasn’t open so i believe an attendant manages this in busier periods. The other car park on the opposite side (not the maggies one) did have a toilet block which had a tap on the back and a waste disposal point. Didn’t check if the waste disposal was open but we managed to get a bit of water from the outside tap. Stunning views, no signal on smarty/ee but a bit on vodafone. A minute from the main road and the road can be small at parts (we did meet a double decker on the way down in our sprinter which was a tight squeeze) but not too much bother x

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

bring coins!!!! The card reader was out of action so had coins aswell as the machines were temperamental, excellent park up £12 for 24hrs with a great view to wake up to. plenty of space when we stayed although out of season and I can imagine it gets busy in summer months no toilets here they are closer to the cafe although locked would definitely stay again

  • 2/5

The parking machine won’t accept our bank cards and 5 other peoples cards! I phoned them only to get an automated message saying if you can’t pay don’t park!!! You can pay by cash however it took 8 attempts!

  • 5/5

I had a lovely stay here. Very friendly carpark staff and the beach is beautiful.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Great location. Filled up the full water tank for £3 - cash only.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

This is a great place to stay, great views. so nice going to sleep hearing the waves. we stayed for 12 hours which cost £5

  • 5/5

My new fav spot. Managed to get a spot overlooking the beach with stunning views. Little beach bar in walking distance with toilets. £12 for 24 hour parking and I believe it’s worth it. Quiet in the evenings we had a sprinter and a couple of MH next to us. Need to keep gems like this available to us.

  • 4/5

Feb 2023, overnight price has gone up to £12 (for 24h), we would try and arrive later on so you can stay inside the cheaper 12h window (only £5) with an early start. Toilet block closed but temp porta-loos free to use. Toilet cassette waste refuse and regular bins in the carpark closest to the Sandbar Restaurant, just with the worse of the two views from either carpark.

  • 5/5

stayed here 25/12 and 26/12. brilliant.

  • 5/5

Great stay for access to the beach, other campers around and felt safe. Price has now gone up to £12 for 24hrs

  • 5/5

We pulled in here about 8pm. Plenty of campers parked looking out at sea for the night. The rest of the car park was empty so we parked up and had a peaceful night. The car park pay machines are taped up so not quite sure how to pay yet. Access straight onto the beach.

  • 5/5

Paid for 24 hours and lovely friendly atmosphere.

  • 5/5

2 nuit merveilleuses!

  • 5/5

Brilliant for kids and dogs, couple of bars and restaurants down on the beach, lots of vans when we stayed so no views for us but everyone was friendly and no noise, wish we could have stayed longer will definitely be back

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

2 car parks fairly close to each other. £8 for 24hrs is very good price. Seaview from your van. There are toilets on site but the council hasn't opened them when we were there during Easter Bank holiday weekend 2022. Surfers beach and it's lifeguarded. Two pubs serving nice food. Bus U4 stops at car park which cam handy after a long coastal walk to come back by public transport.

  • 5/5

Beach side stay with an amazing sunset view, we arrived at 2pm and managed to get front row parking, paid the 8 quid and loved all 24 hours here.

  • 5/5

Loved this spot , slept so close to the sea it was beautiful . The cafe next door was closed until Later in Feb and so were the toilets but there was a chemical waste point and water tap , excellent value at £8 for 24 hrs . The beach is beautiful , def the best time to visit I would imagine it is packed in the summer !

  • 5/5

Fabulous place to stay. it must be amongst my favourites. Stunning views great walks for Dudley Dog. Lovely cafe but in winter hours only open from 11-1700 & last order for food 15.30. Toilet are closed but that would have been a luxury also for a small donation there is chemical waste disposal & water. will return

  • 4/5

Worth the £8 for 24 hours. Lovely view over beautiful beach. Stayed three nights. £3 to fill water tank and £3 in other car park to empty chemical toilet, but can't complain compared to campsite prices. Would definitely use again.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Lovely place, great beach. Water on carpark with charges of £1 . Plenty of bins. Toilets just down the road which were clean. But Elson was pretty disgusting.

  • 4/5

Fabulous place to stay, we meant to stay overnight but ended up staying 3 days, parking was £8 per 24hr period and there is a warden so make sure to display your ticket. Amazing beach with life guards, toilets in other beach was really nasty so never went there. It was a shame because I would have given 5 stars if they had been clean.

  • 5/5

Stayed here one night, beautiful and probably even better if you can get s front row seat of the sea view but too many motorhomes had already taken the front row seats when we got here. arrive early. very friendly place with lots of others campers and so felt very secure. cafe and toilets on the beach. also allowed barbeques on the beach. stayed 1 night.

  • 5/5

Stunning spot overlooking a lovely beach with fabulous walks along the cliffs. Safe place, gravel car park with very friendly parking attendant - £8 for 24 hours. You can empty your cassette at the back of the gents at the disposal point. No time limit on the length of your stay.

  • 5/5

Great spot, right by beach and a bar, friendly parking people during day and great value for 24hrs

  • 5/5

Superb view over the beach Easy access for campervans Clean facilities nearby free of charge Car park warden for added security Stoney gravel surface makes for tidy vans All in all it makes for great value parking

  • 5/5

Great spot! Flat car park would stay agin. Got our water filled up in the morning by owner

  • 4/5

Excellent spot for my 7.2m camper stunning view if u can get a good spot As others have said toilets open 24h and parking £8 / 24h I would definitely recommend coming hear and will return

  • 5/5

Top spot. Toilets are open, with black water disposal point outside. Ask at cafe for water tap key. Great new shop just opened at Praa Sands Holiday Park on Pengersick Lane. Fresh bread and pastries, nice wines. Very friendly. There’s also a Spar at garage on main road, A394, at Newtown.

  • 4/5

Brilliant spot £8 to stay for 24hrs just be careful as there are cameras watching you go in and out. Limited 4g coverage at the front over looking the sea. Pub around the corner (Sandbar) let us fill up our water after a drink there. Toilets were closed maybe due to Covid maybe due to season.

  • 5/5

Brilliant flat carpark with awesome views if your lucky enough to park up overlooking the beach. There's toilets open 24h down the road in the other carpark. Make sure you bring change to pay for the parking as theres no way of paying on a parking app. Pubs 2 minute walk away serving good food at reasonable prices. This has become our new favourite place to stay

  • 5/5

Great views £8.00 for 24hours. Level at the French over looking the sea or at the entrance on the rhs. Please make sure you pay and keep the place tidy as many areas in Cornwall are now posting no over night stays.

  • 5/5

Flat parking area. £8 for 24hrs. Great view over beach and sea if parked by the front.

  • 4/5

Brilliant views and location, £8 for 24hrs but make sure your ticket is displayed in windscreen as they do check. There is also a toilet block in the car park.

  • 4/5

Brilliant views and location, £8 for 24hrs but make sure ticket is displayed in windscreen as you will get a fine in the post and can’t contest it. We had it in the side window first time we came due to having a screen cover. So second time round didn’t make that mistake! Toilets not the cleanest but ok. No shower was available. But the views are second to none :)

  • 5/5

Perfect, super friendly owners, lots of others staying. arrived around 6pm and payed £8 for 24hrs. Was able to use the toilets in the car park next door and the sea was incredible! Perfect and would happily stay again and again :)

  • 5/5

Beautiful view, incredible beach, level car park, nice cafe. £8 for 24 hours. Didn’t want to leave

  • 4/5

We went there on our first camper trip. The spots are lovely and the view was amazing. There are toilets open 24 h. Was just 8 pounds for 24h stay.

  • 5/5

Really nice spot, overlooking the beach. Good facilities - toilets open 24/7, cafe/pub is until 11pm (but no loud noise). Small car park is good for small campers and parking is reasonable price for 8 for 24 hours. Surf hire available and nice walks to the other beaches nearby

  • 5/5

Excellent spot to stay day and night £8 24 hours, waste disposal point at the side of the toilets, the toilets where closed due to covid when we visited July 2020, great walks either way to the left is Porthleven which is idealyic and to the right Perranuthnoe which has a great little cafe on the hillside overlooking the sea.

  • 5/5

One of the best parks on the best beaches in the area. Cafe presently closed as it look likes it’s under refurbishment. Public Toilets are presently closed.

  • 4/5

Great spot by the beach. £8 for 24hr parking. Great surfing spot. Toilets open all night. Nice bar next door and stunning beach.

  • 4/5

2 car parks with direct access to the beach either side of a bar/restaurant & cafe with surf hire. £8.00 for 24 hours the smaller car park on the right hand side facing the beach has a shower & toilets 24 hour. The chap patrolling the car park is also a keen RV traveller

  • 5/5

Platja molt gran i bonica.

  • 3/5

  • 4/5

I normally try to steer away from paying for parking however with the nearby free spots being full we found this spot and could not turn down the views and convenience of the beach for a small fee of £8 for 24 hours. Totally recommend and would stay again!

  • 5/5

    Great spot with stunning views.

  • 4/5

Maggies site Very quiet in February, £5 pay at machine, all coins, 7.30 PM until 10 am. Toilets cleaned daily and rubbish disposal. Buses pass for coast path walking.

  • 4/5

2 car parks. This is Big gravel one has no toilets and is used by bigger self contained vans. But back up to fence for views out to the beach and sea. The one further down next to the cafe has public loos 24/7 but is smaller and a bit slopey. This is More popular with smaller VW vans.

  • 5/5

Haben hier zwei sehr schöne Tage verbracht.
