Didn't stay here but would have liked to. I add it for future reference. Flat gravel on the corner of a quiet road, right next to a small river and the bridge that crosses it. Space for at least two vans

Certainly not that level in a larger motorhome but not too uncomfortable. Road busy on a Sunday lunchtime but will no doubt quieten down later. Picturesque part of the world but incredibly amount of trash, filled three large bags. Open moorland with many sheep wandering on unfenced road so need to take your time while driving.
We have stayed here quite a few times now. Beautiful spot, quiet, couple of dog walkers late and around 8am and a few people going over the fell earlier but barely any traffic, unless you pick an event day then it's obviously busy. Patchy 4G on o2. Beautiful walks and views around, gravel layby with a few pot holes on our last visit (June 24). No Facilities.
perfect and quiet. no phone ( O2/Giffgaff ) or any TV signal. just read a book or watch a dvd and be relaxed by the quiet and remoteness
Nice quiet spot with almost zero traffic passing during the night. Weak mobile signal
perfect...and even saw a male cuckoo!
Lovely quiet place next to a brook, very peaceful and beautiful views to wake up to if you turn up in the dark as we did.
