Les camping-cars et les voitures peuvent être stationnés et laissés pour la nuit, mais le camping et les nuitées en camping-car sont interdits !

Scenic walks, woods, and meadows. Walk to the Roman Army Museum. Toilets and disabled facilities are open 24 hours a day. Shop on site during daytime opening hours. Bus service. Bins and picnic tables provided. Campfires, disposables, and barbecues are prohibited. This is not a campsite. Overnight parking. Please do not overuse this beautiful area. Rangers will spot check. Phone signal may be patchy, depending on the weather.
Motorhomes and cars may be parked and left overnight, but camping and overnight stays in motorhomes is not allowed!

Der Handyempfang kann je nach Wetterlage eingeschränkt sein.
Wohnmobile und Autos dürfen geparkt und über Nacht abgestellt werden, Camping und Übernachtungen in Wohnmobilen sind jedoch nicht gestattet!

Good parking if you are looking for an easy visit to Hadrians Wall. £3 for 1 hour then £1 for additional hours. Looks like sign has been updated since last review as clearly says overnight stays not allowed. Clean toilets and nice shop/info centre on site.
Beautiful quiet place. Stayed overnight for £10…however…found out the next day that overnight parking means as long as you’re not sleeping in it. Checked on website and it does state no sleeping overnight. The signage at the pay machine doesn’t say this so it is easy to make the same mistake we did. Up to you as to what to do with this info.

stayed the night, toilets open and clean and WiFi available. Only van there, was very quiet and peaceful. Some activity around 5.30am possibly warden checking. paid £10 and lasted until midnight the following day
Stayed here last week, nice and quiet, toilets open 24hours, cafe was closed the day we stayed but wasn't an issue, one other van when there.
Fantastic overnight stop. Rolled up at 1 o’clock, £10 ticket covered me till midnight the next day! Toilets v clean and open all night. Loads to do here- hiking, cycling, museum is v interesting. Room for large vans. Staff v friendly.
What a great museum! Well worth a visit. Highly recommended alongside visiting Vindolanda museum. Plenty of space to park a larger xlb van.

Great stopover for walking Hadrian's Wall. We stayed one night and it was fantastic - very quiet. We walked the 14km to Sycamore Gap :-( Went to the fabulous Twice Brewed pub and then got the bus back to the carpark. For £10 overnight parking it's brilliant - thank you for the provision. No service but toilets open.
Top - sehr ruhiger, idyllischer Stellplatz für eine Nacht. Für £10 super. Es gibt auch Toiletten, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben.
Mit 3 anderen WoMos hier gestanden und eine sehr ruhige Nacht gehabt. Die WCs sind ok und 10£ für die Nacht wirklich fair. Erstrecht bei der grandiosen Aussicht vom Berg runter.

Très bel endroit, tant pour les petites balades autour du visitor centre et les vestiges du mur d'Hadrien, que pour y passer une nuit pour 10£. Wifi gratuit et toilettes restées également ouvertes.
brilliant overnight parking, level space, toilet open all night, right on Hadrian's Wall path. Peaceful at night, busy with walkers from morning. Nice little info centre and shop, many walks from the site. Signs state £10 overnight, paid this and ticket was then valid till 23:59 next day - bargain! Please let's look after this rare spot -respecting the opportunity

Great spot, stayed 2 nights, super quiet. Toilets open, clean. Even found the dish washing sink had hot water.. office closed for winter..payment by card at ticket machine

Stopped last night, woke to a beautiful sunny day, only the lady in the visitor centre said there was no overnight parking allowed. Politely challenged the fact that the machine clearly says overnight charges, so you’ll have to make you’re own mind up about it. She did state that it wasn’t policed, so wonder if it’s a lots of something over nothing. I’ll be staying tonight too. Three stars because of that incident, but 5 stars for location.
Great place to stop £10 for overnight with toilets 24hrs lovely walks and a cafe open in the day. did the museums and ruins nearby and enjoyed it so much, decided to stay another night, only us in the car park.
Parfait, Nous sommes arrivés tôt le matin vers 5 h, départ pour une randonnée pour le mur d'Hadrien fabuleuse, le visitor center est sympa et le carrot cake vendu très bon. Toilettes à disposition même si le visitor center est fermé.

Have stayed here several times after a days climbing at Crag Lough. Always nice and quiet and very pleasant.

We were informed (thankfully before payment), you are not allowed to.stay in your vehicle here overnight. The facilities are for parking only. Some may risk it however we did not.
Came early afternoon. Spoke to chap in shop. Payed £10 for the parking ticket which took us up to 6am. Purchased a day ticket. Rangers came to spot check regularly. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, hiking parts of Hadrians Wall & walking the Peace Labyrinth. Our evening was rocky with the winds & we slept perfectly. After walking this am went to the shop for coffee & the delicious fudge.
