so much litter and there is actually a historical monument metres away.. I parked up at 6pm, talking on the phone, it wasnt a cold night, but the mist appeared an completely covered the van and area in minutes. completely exposed in bad weather, but amazing views. convenient for m6.
bit of traffic day time and with cattle grid but i’m ok with that and a very quiet night. will stop again. plenty of space for my 9m camper and level. good EE signal
Not much motorway noise but close to M6. A few cars late but not much passing traffic in the night. Ok if traveling through but avoid in windy weather
Great stopover if you are on the M6. Just a few minutes from the motorway but the traffic noise is no more than a low grumble in the background. Slightly uneven surface. Would be quite exposed in poor weather. Marks high for convenience.
Really nice quiet spot. 5G with Vodafone. Slight road noise but nothing major, no traffic but it is winter.
Very convenient for the M6 and a shower/breakfast at Tebay Services N and S bound. Quiet apart from light traffic over the cattle grid or if sharing with a lorry making an early start. Direct access onto moorland for a quick walk.
Great spot, quiet until about 8am then a few cars passing over the cattle grid. Nice views to wake up to after arriving in the dark. 1 minute off the motorway.
Good little spot. Nice layover on our way to Scotland. Easy access from motorway but no noise from it. Arrived 9pm one other motorhome there.
