lovely location with superb, spotless facilities. only stayed one night but will definitely be back especially as the fees are so reasonable - i don't often stay on campsites since I'm pretty much self-sufficient so it's not worth the ever-rising costs but at £11/night, that's not an issue
A peaceful haven, ideal for a quiet getaway. The site is quiet and remote. 6+ miles away from the nearest big village with shops, etc and 14 miles from Hexham. If that suits you like it does me, I can highly recommend the site. There's a small camp shop for basics at reception, the communal shower/toilet block is fine and there are several nice walks that start from the site.
Sehr schöner Campingplatz mitten in der Natur. Schöne Lage, sauber und nette Betreiber. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da, würden aber definitiv auch länger bleiben. Preis ist auch völlig angemessen.
when we stopped there was only one other camper bliss. Big spacious pitches for vans lovely scenery good facilities we'll be back.

Schöner ruhiger Campingplatz mit freundlichem Besitzer. Die Ausstattung ist einfach aber sauber. Für eine Person mit Hund und Csmpervan hab ich grade mal 13,- £ bezahlt.

A second stay at Stonehaugh and it's worth coming back. Pitches are really spacious and there are picnic benches if you want them. Walking directly from the campsite and the clubhouse in the village is great to drop in for a drink in the evening - limited opening days. The shower block is cleaned everyday and there's showers, toilets, family bathroom and dishwashing. Friendly helpful owners.
Quite peaceful and very clean facilities. Owner super friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful quiet place. Only issue appears to be how to dump greywater given only pit I've found so far is inaccessible to side of camper where we dump from. Sure owner will have a solution. No issues getting in here as mentioned in previous reviews even after a lot of rain. $27 for 2 people with power in camper.

Lovely quiet campsite surrounded by fields, single track road in but smooth road and passing areas so managed fine in motorhome, owner put boards down as it was heavy rain when I got there, 6 amp so not suitable for microwave, gas fine, showers and toilets cleaned everyday and bins emptied regular too, £20 a night for 1 person and 2 dogs with electric, only lights were the toilet block
Sehr freundlicher Empfang, absolut ruhig, wir waren hier Anfang Juni mit nur 1 weiteren Camper auf dem Platz! Sanitär tip top! Sehr zu empfehlen, tolle Wanderwege direkt vom Platz. 11 Pfund pro Person für die Nacht ist auch ok.
Great place for all tents campers etc.the hookup could do with being updated from 6amps.other wise a perfect place to stay.
